dkyeager
To hunt for n77 with US Mobile black sim, a Verizon MVNO, with the latest factory unlocked release, only allow for band 66 and n77 using the the Samsung Band Selector app or equivalent. if you allow n78 as well SCP and cellmapper will fail to see it. Of course you can also tell by doing speed tests, which are basically needed to trigger it. Open to suggestions on less data intensive methods. clbowens
Does anyone know what kind of CA the S21 will be capable of when T-Mobile deploys N77? Could we see something like 100Mhz N41 + 60Mhz N41 + 40Mhz N77?

Correct, both n77 and n78 enabled on unlocked version, T-Mobile MVNO sims support both.

This is correct, it appears that Samsung is disabling the menu that the app served as a shortcut to. It looks like on TMo models, *#2263# still works for band selection though.

Is there a guide on here somewhere, or "just Google it"? 😁

For example, to select a specific LTE Band(s) Click on [7] --Clear selected bands Click on [5] LTE Band Preferences Click on the specific band(s) you want to enable. Click on [F] Go Main Click on [9] --Apply band configuration The same holds for NR5G, just you would click on [5] NR5G Band preferences instead of [5] LTE Band Preferences To re-enable all bands: Click on [8] --Select all bands Click on [9] --Apply band configuration 2

It forced the bands better than the dialer code way. but I rather have the security updates anyway.
