My Samsung Members app still gives me the option to join the beta.....now with beta 2 out......

Does Nova work OK with the new gestures? I have seen on Pixel 4 that it doesn't work very well together.

Thanks, btw do you know how to rollback the beta and install the stock rom?  I used to do it via smart switch but I no longer see that option.

Smart switch.

Shows me an option to join the beta as well even though I'm back on the stock rom.

The current version of smart switch doesnt allow me to choose the device initialization to restore firmware like an older version did.  Anyone else have this problem

It shows a downgrade option as soon as you load it up on PC. Make sure it's up to date.

When do you guys think the official Android 10 update for the S10 will be released?  Sometime in November?

I'm guessing December/January.

The beta started a month earlier than usual so my guess is that official release will be some time in December.

Wow that's a first. 😲 And improved fingerprint recognition algorithm I'll definitely take that.

Fingerprint seems slower now wtf.

Has anyone roamed on T-mobile B71 on the Sprint S10? I assume since it isn't in LTE priority it isn't enabled yet?

So against my better judgement I reinstalled the beta, so far so good. They definitely improved a lot since beta 1. Still have that ugly ass LTE icon in the status bar however.

That was short lived, gmail is not loading for me and constantly crashing... Back to stock. Not having much luck with this beta.

That's really weird. Beta 3 has been extremely stable for me. The only issue I had with the past two betas was the task switcher occasionally freezing up and the Twitter app taking forever to open. Both of those were fixed in the latest update. Did you at least report your issue with Gmail app before you rolled back?

No I didn't, was so pissed I just raged quit and went back to stock.

Here's something cool. If you have an S10 5G using Android 10, the face unlock now uses the ToF sensor to 3D map your face much like it does on iPhones. https://www.androidcentral.com/galaxy-s10-5g-finally-has-3d-face-unlock-iphones

Yeah I’m surprised the S10 5G got left out of the beta. I would have loved to try it. Found some 5G in Orlando too but wasn’t impressed with the speeds.

    • Do it quickly.  My impression is T-Mobile really wants to move people to their network ASAP, even if it causes lots of pain. August 1 is rumored to be the end of Sprint retail.
    • I'm trying to switch over to the Airave 4 now that the've enable VoLTE on them. That should fix this problem. The only reason I got the Pebble over the AR4 is because VoLTE wasn't enable on it yet.
    • My router typically only gets rebooted for firmware updates or major functionality changes that I have implemented. Otherwise stays up for years.  Last time it was down is when Hurricane Ike remnants hit Ohio in 2008 and caused week long power outages, which killed local internet in a few days (I have two ISPs, UPSes, generator).  ISP's battery backups and generator use had improved considerably since that time. Making changes appears to be the greatest reason for router instability. So put internet connections on a UPS,  reboot after major changes, and otherwise enjoy.
    • It’s been a while since I’ve posted here since I’ve switched away from Sprint but I happened upon your thread while researching an upgrade to my Rural Internet Setup and I thought you might be able to help some   I currently have a MoFi 4500 with two 35ft long LMR400 cables going from inside my cabin up to two panel antennas on the roof https://imgur.com/a/NpOjzwM   It’s working ok but I think I’m missing out on a lot of bandwidth since bands 14 and 66 have been added to the area and I could get better signal with a modem mounted behind the antennas (eliminating a lot of line loss).   I’ve been looking at mounting a Telit LM960 or Quectel EM20 in a panel behind the antennas outside along with a Golden Orb compatible router powered by POE and adding another pair of antennas for 4x4 MIMO.   Since you’ve tested both the EM20 and the LM960, which do you prefer? It appears the LM960 actually has better CA combinations for AT&T’s network even though it’s theoretically not as high level of LTE technology category as the Quectel.   It appears to me most of the higher order carrier aggregation on the Quectel is with CBRS or LTE unlicensed which I don’t think I’ll ever see in this rural Edge of Cell area.   Also does it appear to you that having these installed outside would be a reliability issue? It gets really hot here in the summers with plenty of severe weather and it can be cold in Winters. The LM960 at least appears to have a pretty broad operating temperature range.   Any advice is appreciated, thanks!     Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
    • Yeah, agreed, it's pretty ridiculous, but that's typical Sprint for you. I doubt T-mobile will put any work into fixing things like this, since they will want to get rid of B41 femtos to refarm the spectrum. Plus they're moving people to the T-Mobile network anyway. I imagine their CellSpot will work better with VoLTE, with the caveat that it doesn't have as good of range as Sprint femtos (at least the magic box). And/or they'll release a 5G version eventually. But either way, we likely won't see any changes or improvements to Sprint femtos going forward. If you have a UPS, it's worth putting the Pebble, your router, and modem on it. It's certainly nice to have working internet for a while when the power goes out, and then you won't lose VoLTE either. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
