I don't have that problem on mine. The only problem on mine is that the WiFi Calling and WiFi symbol switched places.

Do you have the unlocked variant? If so that's why it seems to be a Sprint branded issue.

You still have persistent notifications up there, if you get rid of them all you'll see is Sprint.

New update is available with Oct security update.  It also mentions a lot of other changes.

I don't think it has the fingerprint scanner fix though.

Posting images on this site has become a cumbersome PITA. So annoying. Imgur isn't working for me and you can't upload screen shots. What the hell?

What's new

Various camera features have been added and

ENHANCED.

- Live focus, Live focus video, AR Doodle, Night,

Super steady

The Link to Windows feature has been added.

- You can easily access photos, messages, and

notifications from your phone on your PC, and a

screen mirroring feature is also provided.

- This feature is available through the Link to

Windows in the quick panel or Settings.

Video Editor has been improved.

DeX for PC has been added.

Dynamic Lock screen has been added.

The wallpaper on your lock screen changes when

you turn your screen off and on.

- New wallpaper images are updated every 2

weeks.

Link to Windows thing works pretty darn well. Not sure I really need many of those features with Android Messages being on the web anyways, but pretty slick nonetheless.

Gotta reset my phone once again, was waiting to reinstall the beta until the next update but I can't stand this damn notification to download the update. So have to unregister again, just when I had my phone how I wanted it.

Anyone been able to actually download the beta? I've been registered for a couple days now and nothing.  Thanks

My son had to send his S10+ in to have the USB port replaced, because it was reporting moisture even though it has (according to him) never been wet. I saw a number of other reported cases for several different Samsung models.

Never had that, but I do occasionally get the weak charging message even though it's not.

A notification just popped up.  It said it was from biometrics or something.  My fingertips version is now 2.0.24.20

Yeah I'm just curious, it's one of the reasons I went back to stock besides the random bug here and there. I still have the option to rejoin the beta so if it's fixed or better I might go back to the beta.

Beta 2 is much better so far than Beta 1. The first one caused charging and overheating issues on my Unlocked S10+.

Thanks, btw do you know how to rollback the beta and install the stock rom?  I used to do it via smart switch but I no longer see that option.

    • I've went ahead and yesterday built a rough draft of the application I was talking about. It allows you to edit rows (single site records) with a GUI that then updates a map. You can also use SQL to edit records. The program additionally allows you to manage several maps in one place. Using it feels very similar to using fusiontables. I've PMed a link to @S4GRU and am awaiting feedback.  I would share a demo here, but the map I'm using for testing has information for ~1000 Sprint sites which I don't think I can post outside the sponsor forum.
    • Bubble Tape It's six feet of bubble gum, for you!  Not them! In this case, I guess it's 10...
    • So about a day into having this T-mo home internet running. I wanted to give it time to acclimate a connection in the incorrect zip code and allow any network controls to kick in. Since no one listened the first time when I mentioned these have no active GPS track I'll just put the results below from a zip code in the beautiful southeast, when it should be operating in the frozen tundra'd expanse far north of here. Just waiting for an irritable text from T-Mobile saying to place it near a window so it can connect to the correct cell 750 miles away . . .   Here is a speedtest connected to the old home site, the UI does not give much for radio information. Here is an obligatory test from my champion tier build on the same site. So far so good. I will tear it apart, swap sims, hang this thing on some better antenna and poast results as time allows and the week's progress concludes. Have a great Sunday everyone and stay free out there! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
    • Step one on an amazing journey. This is the content we come here for. Also, you can use any image hosting site to share. When making a high quality poast just share the direct link to the image and it will auto fill. They come from elaborate to simple. I use magaimg.net since it is an easy fileshare, more normie friendly sites like the imgur app or http://imgs.fyi/ work just as well.
