T-Mo's 2nd quarter results expected to be presented by July 30th....   I'm sure they are hoping to have some sort of answer by then...

I'm thinking this is really taking a long time... they must be hung up on 1 or 2 key points and neither is budging on it....

...cause it's taking too long.   Even the Justice Dept is bored with this!

This is amazing.

In an homage to the warrior-poets Warren G, Nate Dogg; I'm so thoroughly pleased by the regulators for once, they appear to have mounted up successfully.

Finally something is happening. What do we think will happen given they have to comply with current concessions or go to court.

Court if they are playing to win.

Back on topic...

I glad the DOJ issued that warning to the merging parties.    If they didn't put a deadline on this, I think it would drag on for another 2 months.     Make the move or don't.

I hope they go court personally. It will help clarify the limits of DOJ's powers to force a settlement and whether they have standing to sue under the antitrust laws in this instance. I am totally against spectrum concessions and I am also against any concessions that can come back to hurt T-Mobile.

Fair enough

To be honest I wasn’t expecting anything so that’s all there is to it

This imo is more of a sign that the merger announcement is imminent than anything else

How big is the marketing department? It is less than 5% of that number.  Say it's 200 people, less than 10 people got laid off/fired.  Yeah...

So the big hold up is the MVNO agreement that Dish/Boost will get from T-Mobile. Since the terms will be rather beneficial, they don't  want somebody else to acquire Dish/Boost (cable Cos) and inherit the same terms. I have to say that the term of 3 years for the MVNO agreement is rather short.

Sounds like T-Mo/Sprint will host Dish's spectrum for a good number of years... this is a good thing for us as I think it will help with coverage and depth as I believe we will get to use it too?  (Sprint/T-Mob) customers?

If they had to give up spectrum to Dish then they gave up too much and I would have let the DOJ sue. On the other hand, exchanging 800MHz SMR spectrum for 600Mhz spectrum down the line might be OK.

I just want this all to be completed one way or another... I don't care anymore.  Just want all the uncertainty done with.   Time for Sprint and T Mobile to get back to business with or without each other...    Time to get it done!
