Nope. Sprint model is in the same boat. Closing in on 3 months without a update.

I just go with unlocked phones. Usually the time between software updates is better.

I would assume with unlocked phones it is better. But I'm curious. Is the update cycle better with T Mobile, or for that matter Verizon, At&t?

Verizon has had the best support. ATT and T-Mobile tied. For example Verizon, T-Mobile and ATT all pushed out the night mode update for the Note 9. V and ATT even pushed them for the S9 and S10. Sprint has only pushed for the S10 and the Note 9 and S9 still don’t have VoLTE.

To be fair, this latest update added night mode for the Note 9.

Sure did! Going to have to test this thing tomorrow while I'm working at the airport.

Speaking of airports, does anyone know the steps one has to take to use the Note 9 overseas, specifically in Spain. I thought it was something simple but I'm not too sure. The Sprint website is not consistent with the answers.

I asked the international folks and this is what I had to do when I went on my cruise this summer.

For Samsung:

Make sure that you are connected to a working Wi-Fi connection.

          1. Go to Settings > System Update.
          2. Tap Update profile.
          3. Once it's done, tap Update PRL.

After the updates disconnect from Wi-Fi, we need to do the following steps:

          1. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Network > Data Roaming.
          2. Network mode & roaming network should be set to Automatic.
          3. Turn off everything under domestic roaming.
          4. Turn on everything under international roaming.

Just incase you didn't receive the welcome message. Here is the link and all you need to do is to manually put this on your browser.

http://intlroam.sprint.com

    1. Kindly Turn off your Wi-Fi
    2. Open your Cellular Data
    3. Put the link on your browser or click the link inside the welcome message
    4. Follow the steps if you want to purchase the $5/day or $25/week

As we're about to enter October, the September security update is now available. No VoLTE, of course.
