Interesting acquisition announced today....Blackberry to acquire Good Technologies. For those of you who don't know or are familiar with Good, it's basically a BYOD platform for enterprises. (Email, intranet, etc.) Not necessarily directly Sprint related, but many people use both.
I've seen some threads recently about the differences between SIM/UICCs and though posting a compatibility matrix would help people.
This is pretty straightforward. The matrix has every Sprint LTE device, and what UICC card is meant for that device. Mix and matching UICC card types probably will not work, but swapping around UICC cards for devices that use the same type of card should work properly.
Keep in mind, you cannot simply move your UICC card to another phone to use it. Sprint's device authentication system still requires the correct UICC and MEID to be on the account to authenticate properly and work.
Sprint LTE/TMO AWS native (non-roaming-indicated) coverage confirmed in Oxford, OH.
Has anyone verified that active data sessions, including VoLTE and/or Calling+ will soft-handover to and from TMO AWS?
I seem to be the only one so far that got it shipped. I was told yesterday that with the ordering system being down that if you submitted a request it you'll get one, might take an extra day or two since someone has to input this order into the system. I would just watch the link that Mike provided (sometimes doesn't work so you'll need to do my process)
I ordered one Friday morning but hadn't received any notification email. So I called back a moment ago and was just told that they are still having trouble ordering these. I relayed that some folks had gotten shipping notifications...the reply was, "I promise no one is getting these yet, they are simply not shipping yet. " Ugh.
He offered to try everyday and would let me know when he was successful in placing my order for an Airave 4.
Anyone have any advice?
