Also, this update reset my screen resolution down to FHD+ from WQHD+. Just FYI.

Mine stayed at wqhd+.

My update size was only 353.79 MB. Wonder why the size difference compared to above? Mine is also on Sprint

It did when it came out of the box in March. I updated my wife's S9 just now and hers was also 747MB. I don't know. Anybody find out any big changes yet? Or fixes?

Same here as well, maybe its just some differences between the 9 and the 9+.  The screenshot in question is from a 9

That's the inconvenient way. You have to have it active for 50 days so even if you pay I paid it off they wouldn't give it to me.
