legion125
Most of us knew this already, but Sprint's letting the world in general know. However, the site is now live. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-outs-illinois-town-kankakee-lte-market/2012-04-
ericdabbs
Well. There hasn't been an official press release from Sprint so I wouldn't say its official yet. Its no secret that Sprint has been using Kankakee as a LTE market testbed. I don't know what the basis of the Fiercewireless article is all about.
ChadBroChillz
Wasn't Kankakee mentioned a while back as the first LTE cluster? I remember reading about a city near Chicago that was LTE-ready back in december.

S4GRU
S4GRU announced the Kankakee cluster a long time ago. It has also been on our Network Vision maps for a long time too. However, one of the things that many people don't realize is the Kankakee cluster is east of the city of Kankakee straddling the Illinois/Indiana state line. It doesn't actually cover the city proper of Kankakee at all. Robert

And they will talk about that a long time from now as if it will be new news. Robert
legion125
Well, the common folk have to find out someway. It's not like Sprint is keeping anyone in the know.

I commented, "This is reallly old news for anyone who has been to www.s4gru.com" i love their android forums but their writing at Phandoid sometimes leads me to say what the hell. I was going to reply but you beat me to it and I really cant stand that disqus sign on using a phone. On a pc it works fine.
