I am no longer able to connect to LTE B25 or B26 here.  😢  Goodbye Sprint network.  It was fun...

Sprint still has G block 5x5 plus another PCS 5x5 live here. B26 and 15MHz B41 also still live in Louisville for now. B41 was just trimmed and moved in the past 2 weeks.

G block and B26 are live out here (near-ish London, TX), in addition to 5x5 B71 on what I believe is another site. Will know tonight what's live in the vicinity of Fredericksburg, but betting 2x 5x5 B25 and 20 MHz B41 is still live with how heavily TMo relies on keep sites there.

Yesterday I found all three bands, 25, 26, 41 still operating on the remaining live sites here in the South Puget Sound area in Washington State.

Came across this on Reddit, its a T-Mobile site plan including n77 gear. Don't think I've seen this yet. Anyone else seen n77 gear in other parts of the country for T-Mobile?

They are only licensed in major metro iirc.  I would look for it in one with unmet demand which would likely have limited n41 spectrum. San Francisco might fit the bill.

Likely because it won't be paid for until the second half of next year: https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/t-mobile-forks-over-35b-more-600-mhz-spectrum

Anybody else noticed that when your phone connects to SA N41, if it's available in your area, it completely loses signal for a bit then connects?

I have that issue.  But with my LG V60, after it connects, it then shuts down Mobile Data throughput.  Like it won't finish authentication.  Like the T-Mobile network won't allow me to use n41 SA.  And I cannot connect to n2/n25 at all, even though it is on my band selection list.

I've been noticing random times when my phone will show a decent 5GUC connection, but I have zero data throughput (up or down). Usually have to do an airplane mode cycle to get things working again. My home internet will also do the same a couple times a day, but usually corrects itself after about 30-60 seconds.

I don't know if T-Mobile pays the tower crews by the hour or what. A crew has been working on adding 2500 gear to a site that already has everything else upgraded, and they've been working on it for 2.5 weeks. Verizon is doing complete rip and replaces in 2-3 days and I've seen new Dish installs going up in less than a day. T-Mobile work seems to take longer than work for the other carriers around here for some reason. Couldn't ask for better weather for this time of year either.

I’ve heard a lot of the Nokia AEHCs are defective and that they’re causing a lot of delays.

I've noticed several sites had staff replacing AEHC before the site went live (e.g. the Woodinville National Glass site)

Looks like SA N41 was enabled in Louisville today. Phone switched to it and held for awhile without me having to force it. Once it did switch I was able to lock to n41 and it connected again.

I was able to connect all over Louisville, southern Indiana, and held it all the way home to Bardstown KY.

Poking around the ULS and picked up that T-Mobile is cancelling a few 2.5GHz leases to third parties.  Cancelling leases should result in immediate frequency gains, like what we have seen in Houston, which is listed below.  I will link you to the map, but if you shift to the lease tab you can see what is cancelled.  Limiting to the last six months here is what I spotted:

San Diego, CA: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2589293  https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2592255

San Jose, CA: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2588169  https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2592881

San Francisco, CA: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2588212

Omaha, NE: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2590253

Fort Collin, Co: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2588494

San Bernardino, CA: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2591310

Alexandria, MN: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2592442

Port Aurthur, TX: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2588328

Houston, TX: https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/licenseMap.jsp?licKey=2586219

I could go back further, but people may have already noticed the others.  Will check for other bands, which could be done for rural expansion.

    • Since this is kind of the general chat thread, I have to share this humorous story (at least it is to me): Since around February/March of this year, my S22U has been an absolute pain to charge. USB-C cables would immediately fall out and it progressively got worse and worse until it often took me a number of minutes to get the angle of the cable juuuussst right to get charging to occur at all (not exaggerating). The connection was so weak that even walking heavily could cause the cable to disconnect. I tried cleaning out the port with a stable, a paperclip, etc. Some dust/lint/dirt came out but the connection didn't improve one bit. Needless to say, this was a MONSTER headache and had me hating this phone. I just didn't have the finances right now for a replacement.  Which brings us to the night before last. I am angry as hell because I had spent five minutes trying to get this phone to charge and failed. I am looking in the port and I notice it doesn't look right. The walls look rough and, using a staple, the back and walls feel REALLY rough and very hard. I get some lint/dust out with the staple and it improves charging in the sense I can get it to charge but it doesn't remove any of the hard stuff. It's late and it's charging, so that's enough for now. I decide it's time to see if that hard stuff is part of the connector or not. More aggressive methods are needed! I work in a biochem lab and we have a lot of different sizes of disposable needles available. So, yesterday morning, while in the lab I grab a few different sizes of needles between 26AWG and 31 AWG. When I got home, I got to work and start probing the connector with the 26 AWG and 31 AWG needle. The stuff feels extremely hard, almost like it was part of the connector, but a bit does break off. Under examination of the bit, it's almost sandy with dust/lint embedded in it. It's not part of the connector but instead some sort of rock-hard crap! That's when I remember that I had done some rock hounding at the end of last year and in January. This involved lots of digging in very sandy/dusty soils; soils which bare more than a passing resemblance to the crap in the connector. We have our answer, this debris is basically compacted/cemented rock dust. Over time, moisture in the area combined with the compression from inserting the USB-C connector had turned it into cement. I start going nuts chiseling away at it with the 26 AWG needle. After about 5-10 minutes of constant chiseling and scraping with the 26AWG and 31AWG needles, I see the first signs of metal at the back of the connector. So it is metal around the outsides! Another 5 minutes of work and I have scraped away pretty much all of the crap in the connector. A few finishing passes with the 31AWG needle, a blast of compressed air, and it is time to see if this helped any. I plug my regular USB-C cable and holy crap it clicks into place; it hasn't done that since February! I pick up the phone and the cable has actually latched! The connector works pretty much like it did over a year ago, it's almost like having a brand new phone!
    • That's odd, they are usually almost lock step with TMO. I forgot to mention this also includes the September Security Update.
    • 417.55 MB September security update just downloaded here for S24+ unlocked   Edit:  after Sept security update install, checked and found a 13MB GP System update as well.  Still showing August 1st there however.
    • T-Mobile is selling the rest of the 3.45GHz spectrum to Columbia Capital.
    • Still nothing for my AT&T and Visible phones.
