LAX can lick balls. Spent a lot of time in the area last summer. Much prefer going in and out of Santa Ana / John Wayne.

Had to do LAX a handful of times when I spent some time up in Van Nuys. Really not interests in going to that mess again. Airport itself was fine, but once you leave the airport is when it gets a bit shifty. lol

Didn't they change all unlimited plans to have deprioritization after 23GB?

Only new ones or people who upgrade devices on older plans.

I wonder if that includes anyone activating a different handset on their line or just those that "upgrade" through Sprint channels.

Anyone try this yet?  Cheaper then Karma and getting a little roaming.

The Unlimitedville website now seems to be gone. Possibly Sprint shut them down, though that should only affect the Sprint part of their business, not the Verizon part. Strange though that the RV news site and RCR Wireless News site did the news articles about this company, which basically seemed to be promotional in nature, rather than reviews of it.

Edit Note :

nvm... it was CloudFlare blocking my entry to the site for a moment. I just got back on. I'm curious why this happened though.

Not only is this site active but it also broadcasts b25 LTE!

Dow Chemical & DuPont are in merger discussions. I have no idea how/why in the year of gigantic mergers and buyouts that Sprint's TMUS merger is held to such a high level of scrutiny.

Excellent find. Sprint should be updating its coverage map for it.

Sometimes their coverage maps are sorely outdated.  Example - we have had B41 up and going for MONTHS here, and still no spots of yellow on the coverage map.  I'm sure its a fine line to walk between being precise, accurate, and timely.

I think it's kinda funny that sprint under-exaggerates their coverage considering pretty much every one else completely over exaggerates theirs. It makes they map look really bad when compared to the others.

Great job but they still lost the market on a whole somehow. I hope Legere does not go to twitter with the whole we beat you in your own city bs.

in my area the map way over exaggerates (southern WI) i sometimes have 3g outdoors while deep in yellow , miles away from the nearest tower.  Im not complaining i know how the network works and where i can expect lte, 3g, and where i can expect 1x... or less.  they are aware of the lack of coverage especially on the south side of my town.  I actually recommended an intersection in town that should have a tower, he laughed and said that's an area they are thinking of adding a tower (lots of sprint zone problem reports).... Its not a secret to the network team as to where the problem areas are, the coverage map is a different team, a marketing team,  At the end of the day that is all the coverage maps is... marketing.

No John went to twitter trash talking the USA Today article about how T-Mobile isn't practicing what they preach.

    • Unable to confirm if it's really off but I noticed this morning that I'm no longer connecting to Band 41 on my home site. Switching my phone to LTE-only pretty much always put me on Band 41 since it was the least used band on T-Mobile's network. Now I'm only able to connect to Band 2/66. Not complaining because it means speeds are faster on LTE and maybe 150MHz n41 is around the corner.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
