Ascertion
Another Overall Performance win for Sprint in 2H via RootMetrics. Boise, ID EDIT: Toledo, OH also got some impressive improvements. Since our testing in May, Sprint’s median download speed increased from 6.6 Mbps to 23.8 Mbps, and Sprint’s median upload speed increased from 3.8 Mbps to 5.8 Mbps.

I read that there was an update pushed to the note edge in the past few weeks. That could account for the better results and maybe more to come. ???? There are a number of good markets for Sprint in this round of testing so I don't think issues in markets can be blamed on the phone. Wow. I am curious. They're no longer using the Spark brand? Perhaps LTE Plus is their new marketing term? Similar to Verizon's XLTE?
caspar347
I am curious. They're no longer using the Spark brand? Perhaps LTE Plus is their new marketing term? Similar to Verizon's XLTE?Spark was for the first B41 carrier but it looks like they've stopped using it. It looks like LTE Plus refers to 2xCA with beamforming.
bmoses
is beamforming a B41 only option? or will it apply to B25 and/or B26 as well?

transitwatch889
Is it me or do they have markets that aren't live with CA as being of party to that press release anyway as being markets as listed. Speaking of NYC market of course in my personal interest. Do like this name personally LTE plus, and the removal of spark symbol much cleaner approach hopefully the rate plans reflect this as well. Paynefanbro
Sprint finally has a lot of confidence. This is something they've been lacking for years now. The fruits of their labor are starting to take hold and hopefully the general public will begin to realize this too.
lilotimz
Can current B41 equipment even support higher than 3xCA?? Maybe 3xCA down 2xCA UP?The equipment theoretically can and they've done it in test setups to but are not certified to do so. 3xCA downlink carrier aggregation should be the limit for the immediate future at least for consumer usable mobile devices.

NYC126
Wait a minute I thought the 8T8R antennas could do 6X carrier aggregation years from now. I remember they did a lab test with Nokia where it showed over 2.6Gbps. Regardless Sprint is showing the symptoms of having a bad ass network.
