Yeah that's what I thought. So Sprint either got screwed or got a deal they couldn't pass up. I wonder which.

Maybe roaming. But yeah zero spectrum since att is very very limited

AT&T has the most spectrum by a wide margin under 2.5 GHz. What part of their spectrum portfolio is “limited”? 170 MHz on average nationally whereas T-Mobile and Verizon are around 100 MHz and Sprint ranges between 45-65 MHz at best.

AT&T is in no way spectrum limited.

Most of the presentation is the stuff we already know about. But a couple of cool details

Over 1000 M-MIMO sites are live now!

Just waiting on final 5G NR software to be pushed

ENDC Bonded LTE/NR will allow the full 120Mhz to be used on 5G devices and still keep legacy devices up to 60Mhz of LTE

LG V50 will have a GLOWING 5G logo on the back LOL! (RGB everything life!)

**WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!**

They also have live QnA and I posted one question,. he actually ANSWERED LIVE! Intraband CA is coming in weeks guys!!!!!!

Most modern devices released 2018 and beyond support it. But who knows where, could be one city/state, county or block for all we know.

I was under the impression the target date for interband CA was at the end of June. They must be running ahead of schedule!

I should have been more clear on that, Intra meaning non-contiguous CA within the same band and inter for different band CA.

Exciting! However, I'm most excited for the interband CA. Won't do me much good here but it will other places. They still haven't refarmed PCS here yet.

Pixel 2:

Couldn’t find anything for the Pixel 1. Looks like it supports 3xDL CA... Likely nothing in UL CA, but others would know better than me.

My main concern is Upload CA. Glancing at those links, it looks as if neither device supports it?

    • This is why am getting a pixel three XL. I can view the screens through reading it and using network signal guru. Anyways interestingly enough AT&T has a primary 10 MHz PCS carrier and then a secondary 5 MHz carrier aggregated with the PCC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
    • Are they doing it to their network across the grid? Or only in certain locations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
    • Strand mount small cells of the tmobile flavor. Supports LAA or LTE-U Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
    • So far I've found 5 or so of these small cells. I wasn't able to locate either a building or electrical permit for any of these, but I'm attributing that to the new permitting system that went live last month. Between all cellular permits in the last 2 years I only found 91 records, so a lot seems to be missing. But I am pretty confident that these are AT&T as one is in the shadow of a Verizon/TMO tower. None of them have the electric meter installed yet so not sure how long it will be before these get fired up. These have a pretty minimal footprint, it looks like the radios are under the antenna in the brown enclosure. The only thing on the ground is an H bracket setup for the power meter and fiber termination. This particular one was installed on an existing pole, but most are on newly installed poles.  Map of AT&T small cell permits, as I mentioned earlier, this list is just what I pulled from the permit portal.  View AT&T CRAN in a full screen map
    • 5g is still in the early phases of deployment and testing . I honestly don’t care about 5g one bit..
