The push to amazon was definitely an accident since it's now gone. They probably have some kind of automated posting system, and the iphone stuff accidentally made it's way into the rotation.

Yeah, they look chrome. I wonder why these are up? Someone said it earlier, and it's true. This phone is the worst kept secret ever. But it's phone porn for us Apple fans.

It's a wonder why apple wants to start using robots instead of people to assemble the phones entirely.

I am pretty excited for this phone to get released...  Having an iPad and a MBPr, I could definitely use an iPhone as my daily driver so everything is available for me at all times. 

 

I went with Android when joining Sprint just for the tri-band LTE.  If this has B41, which it should, I will probably be going with the 4.7" variant.

 

Anyone have any comparisons with the 5S and the iPad Air in terms of RF performance?  I have the cellular version of the iPad Air and it gets the same or even better LTE connectivity than my Nexus 5 does on the .15 radio.  (Probably worse on B25... Unable to get to any engineering screens)  I feel like the iPad must be pretty strong in B26 though, which is probably the most important at this moment.  Basically, if the 6 can pull in LTE in places my iPad Air does and has B41, I will be a very happy camper.

That's the reason I've been dabbling on the android side for 6 months. I got bored and needed the larger screen for work, and band 41. I love my m8, but still switch back to my iPhone 5s at least once a week.

Apple Placing Unprecedented Amount of iPhone 6 Orders

 

The paper also states that Apple's first iPhone 6 order will consist of 68 million units, with the device finally entering mass production later this month. This is consistent with earlier rumors about the mass production of the 4.7-inch device, although it is unknown if this newest report is referring to joint production of the 4.7-inch and larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6. 

 

Apple is likely pushing for a large initial order of the iPhone 6 in order to avoid the supply issues that surrounded the launches of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5. While some reports have suggested that Apple may launch the 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6 after the 4.7-inch version due to issues with display technology and battery life, a recent report from Bloomberg suggested that both devices could launch simultaneously. 

 

That's a lot of phones.

For RF prowess, handsets and tablets tend to be two different animals.  And there are solid reasons for that.

I feel this way too sometimes. I like iMessage to much though. Since the 6 will have b41, I am pretty much stuck with iOS for another 2 years. That's alright though, I am completely enveloped in the apple ecosystem. Never thought I would be, and then it just....happened.

When I say I love iMessage, I am saying I love the functionality of it. My messages are almost always instantly delivered and I can see when people have read them (if read receipts are on) and when they are delivered. I can send picture messages on wifi or good service at an instant. I can even send long videos which would normally take an eternity over normal text, vs a few seconds or so depending on the size the video if on wifi or a good LTE signal. 

 

Group messaging is easier. I just like iMessage. Texting normally vs iMessage is like night and day for me.

Personal preference. When I'm in bad data areas I turn it off and switch to normal texting because I know they'll work. But 99% of the time, I prefer iMessage. That and I type through messages on my mac when I'm using it. It's easier.

If you have a mac and are signed into messages, they store on your computer. I once had about 8gb of "other" files and I figured it was about 6 gb of messages saved. The rest is mail or crap I can't seem to locate.

Have you seen Chatology? That's the kind of search I'd love to see integrated into Messages on Mac OS, iCloud, iOS.

The section where it says the CPU is quad core is contrary to most rumors and reports that I have seen. I have heard it will stay dual core, but have a higher than 2 GHz clock speed. But of course, that's just a rumor.
