As I live about twenty minutes from Boston, I venture to boston once a while, as bordering Lowell, I sometimes get 4g WiMax if I go near the border of Lowell/Tewksbury.... As there is a cell phone tower next to my house i'd be hoping it could get LTE, which is highly unlikely. I'm just curious when Boston area will get their upgrade... I understand its in the first roll-out stage, im just curious about the date
EE just launched a 2x20 LTE network in the UK and claim that it has peaks above 100Mbps. They are only advertising average speeds of 40Mbps though. Do you guys think that Sprint/Clearwire will be able to offer average speeds similar although that maximum throughput will be lower? Do you think that Verizon and T-Mobile will follow suit and under promise to over achieve? Not that the speed of the network matters much to me, I'd just like to see how you guys think Verizon or T-Mobile woukd market such a network.
So just today on my iPhone my 3G went all haywire, it will connect but it won't let me do anything on it, LTE works, calls work, it's just the 3G that doesn't, I will check back after I test if 1x works for data still, also 3G works when I hard reset the phone but only for a short while, moved around the city to make sure its not the cell tower, and 3G still doesn't work. I can't dial ##873283# though, just says update failed.... Help? :/ I'm jailbroken with but I haven't modified anything today and it was working on previous days/
Sievert has been groomed for the CEO job for a while now. While Legere was the showman, Sievert was the man that actually made the plan happen. They need a man at the top with attention to detail to execute the merger plan on time.
