hello i live in east brunswick new jersey the central new jersey market and i was wondering there are only 3 or so towers in my town i m curious as to how my signal strength will increase or if it even because the nearest tower is 1.18 miles from me and the other ones are futher from me and i was wondering if my signal strength will go from fair to go or best regards daniel lodish

Once your towers are broadcasting 800 mhz you should have a signal as solid as gold if you are a mile out.

Your 3G signal might increase slightly, same goes for LTE, but for voice calls and text (800mhz 1x), you'll see a huge improvement.

I think the average tower reaches approximately 797.624 miles. But, again, this is just an estimate. ; o )

I am pretty sure i read somewhere that it is actually 797.6238999. Just saying ...

Cell site towers have no arms; thus, they have no reach.
