This doesn't include the 800 scan order changes as my app doesn't analyze that granular as it would be a report 5 miles long every time.  This is only 25017 to 25018 but the other device series are based off the same core this one was based off.

With more removes than adds does that mean that Sprint is turning off the ability to roam to a bunch of places?

Sure, if you roamed on those networks then indeed you won't anymore.  But I doubt anyone was roaming on those.  And that only applies if there was only one record of that SID in the PRL and now there are none for that SID.

Like digiblur mentions, most places are covered with more than one roaming partner.  And a lot of the removes just don't exist anymore.  Like Alltel and Revol.

I'm not well versed on the PRL stuff, but looking at the full analysis of 55017 and 25018 from your site, it doesn't appear that the 800 tidbits changed, at least not for Boston and the other markets I looked at near the top of the list. Or does the full analysis report not reflect that either? Or does the placement in the overall list relate to a prioritization? Just curious if your analysis did confirm that the 800 scan priority did change from *17 to *18, and if it's something we could pick out on our own by looking at your data.

The full analysis would show that the scan orders and priority levels.  You can see the 224xx SIDs are still at priority level 1 but are scanned after the PCS SIDs are scanned.

Not out of the ordinary. Many areas have scans where Sprint isn't even licensed. You can't have an ACQ record for every single spectrum difference.

    Wow, I had no idea that Revol went belly up recently.  Guess that explains the PRL removals if Sprint now owns the spectrum anyway.  I sometimes wondered how they managed to stay in business and yet never seemed to grow much beyond their native coverage areas.

Updated the spreadsheet again. I have the reasoning of the changes, but not the actual PRL numbers associated with it. The xxx17 to xxx18 series wasn't hard to figure out... but the xxx99 series being updated to xxx00 I am unsure of. The main page I get my listing of PRLs from hasn't been updated yet and still shows xxx17 and xxx99, it will likely be updated in the next couple of days after the weekend. So the actual PRL numbers are temporary unless my guesses were correct.

FWIW, someone in the New England market sponsor thread mentioned that he recently received PRL 2015 on his Note2 and believed it significantly improved his data connections.

XDA syndrome! I'm guessing it's a placebo. With the Note2 having it's own PRL series for CDMA 800 issues, maybe they re-enabled BC10 and he's somehow seeing an impact with improved 1X signal strength? That's a complete shot-in-the-dark guess on my part, and the only relevant correlation I can come up with. And it seems like a very very long shot at that.

Edited to add the actual embedded spreadsheet into first post, it updates every time a change is made to the spreadsheet so it will always be up to date. I'll still be working on it throughout the day to try and optimize it better to fit the fixed-width of the forum, so if it's looking screwy just give me a bit.

Okay, I think I got it squished down so it will fit within the frame no matter your screen resolution. I noticed that IE8 has issues with the cell merging, so if you are running IE8, you will have issues viewing it in the frame, the actual Google Doc may still work however, if not then I'm sorry.
