nahum365
Refurb ipad 3's are $379 from apple direct. They have siri and the higher res displays. You could also get one locally for a cheaper price. If they want more than $380 point them to the apple site, they'll come down Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD I've been considering that, but the high-res display is: A: Unneeded- I have really good vision. B: Use to much resources. The iPad 3 has the A5X, the same processor as the iPad 2, just optimized for the power hungry display. This leads to lag and inability to play power-demanding games. Also, the 3rd generation iPad is about half a pound heavier then the second generation. Not that it matters, just saying. LTE is useless for me, I would prefer tethering my phone (legally of course) when I need it. So the iPad 2 is looking like my best bet. Add a keyboard case, and hopefully iOS 5.1.1, and I'll have a beast of a productivity machine!
digiblur
All I want for Christmas is for people to slap themselves when they talk nonsense about buying into the fruit cult. I have saved two people this season some money and frustration so far. Second then I want is the tower a few miles away with panels and RRUs to fire up so I can put the purple on the map! JeffDTD
All I want for Christmas is for people to slap themselves when they talk nonsense about buying into the fruit cult. Ive slapped myself a few times for buying an ipad 2 when they came out. I lust after the galaxy tab 2.0 every time i see it. Merry Christmas. All I want for Christmas is a prosperous new year of employment. Too much talk at my job of downsizing.

iansltx
Without starting a flame war here, I am very happy with the performance of my third-gen LTE iPad. However I have no desire to purchase another Apple product in the near future. My used top of the line last gen 27" iMac was enough Now if I'm wishing...a 35 cent increase in Sprint's stock price, an NV LTE site near where I'll be in FL over the holiday, or a Nexus 4 would all be cool Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

PDXmike
You enjoy Android, I enjoy Apple. Simple. That's how I have to approach it. Half of my family are fans of Apple, while the other half, myself included, are Android/PC fans. What I'd like for Christmas is confirmation of sites in progress in the Oregon/SW Washington market. Haven't seen anything at my local towers, so that will probably have to wait until after Christmas. Oh well...

System 7.5.5? I miss that OS. Mac OS 8 was great too, but nothing compares to the stability of the UNIX infrastructure behind OS X. Now I want to go back to Pahrump and boot up my Quadra 840AV. Apple apparently thought so too, for the longest time, as 8 and 9 were very much so just reskins of 7 with a few bugfixes. And hell yeah Glider! Great game. It's only too bad that Mini VMac emulates the Mac II at best, and not something like the Quadra or Performa; there are a few things that won't start, and a few that run... funny. I still have a Blueberry iMac running System 9, and I boot up things like Quake 3 on it. Classic rocked. Never was a fan of OS X...

Sent from a little old Note 2 I agree with that completely, but don't believe it's worth losing the simplicity and reliability of iOS. That's what I want for Christmas- a simple and reliable mobile OS that allows you to do whatever you want. Oh and that iPad.

I was wanting to buy an AKM (I'm cheap) but with the debates going on they're probably in short supply.
