Wow we have a long way to go.

Very long way lol, & come to think of it has Philly even been "officially" launched yet? They were supposed to this time last year, then got pushed back to spring, then summer, & now still no word unless Sprint is thinking of launching the entire tri state area at the same time.

Yes, Philly was launched at the end of July.  We're at about 45% of LTE sites currently approved.  And it isn't necessarily that long until you guys see a Wilmington launch.  With the exception of one tower out in Delaware County, the Philadelphia market didn't see any LTE whatsoever until mid-March. We have one of the bigger markets in the country, and they were able to get us to a launch in what, 4 months?  So since NV equipment rollout is pretty far along in DE, it stands to reason that once your backhaul issues are settled, you could see approved LTE towers popping up like weeds.

Now that I think about it most of the population proly live in New Castle county so it wont be that long. Get a couple more towers above the canal and the ones around Middletown you got it.

Well I imagine they will launch the area in parts. They have done that elsewhere so it wouldn't surprise me if they do that in DE.

There is a whole thread about it. Basicly it is Sprint's marketing name for the triband network.

Ah okay thanks, gonna find the thread on here & check it out further.

    • Internet Air arrived at my parents' place last week, and got set up over the weekend. Upload speeds were respectable at ~30 Mbps in some areas. Downloads, less than 100 Mbps. T-Mobile performs a lot better, off of AFAIK the same site (albeit with lower upload speeds). So after some more testing the AT&T box will probably get returned.
    • https://news.samsung.com/global/one-ui-6-1-brings-galaxy-ai-from-s24-series-to-even-more-galaxy-devices So it will be missing the advanced photo editing.  Likely the same for the S21 series. Google may be covering that for phones from Android 8 with 3GB of Ram, although they are reserving some functions just for Pixels.
    • Google is opening up its AI type editing features to "To use some features, you must have at least 3 GB RAM and Android 8.0 and up." Of course some features are reserved for Pixel phones.    Wonder if this will cause Samsung to expand what the s21 can do in terms of AI in future firmware updates?    Of course what we are really talking about is the data that they can capture from photos. Access to all your photos is required.
