LG Mach LS860

Recommended Posts

Anyone know if the LG Mach has SVDO? I don't think anyone wrote an article on it here.

FCC ID# is ZNFLS860. If I knew how to read the documents, I would answer, but it's a jumbled mess to me.

Anyone actually have one of these? I'm curious about the reception strength and call quality.

Err, thanks, I guess that tells me a little bit :P

Kind of thinking of picking up one of these or a Photon Q. I like how compact this phone is compared to the Photon Q, but functionality is more important than form for me.

Right, I gathered that from one of Robert's posts. He also mentioned buggy  :(

Unfortunately, the current options for phones with keyboards are pretty limited

Are you saying the Q is as bad as the viper? My wife has the Q and i have the original photon. While mine seems to have a little better reception, the Q still seems like a decent phone. There are several others here with the Q. What say you guys? Is it as bad as the viper?

It's not as bad as the Viper.  However, it was not as good as other flagship phones when it was introduced.

Apparently the q does have some bugs. My wife has been complaining that it just does things on its own. At first i thought it was just user error ... maybe not.

I have the Mach.  Was going to get the Photon Q, but the non-removable battery was a deal-breaker.  Since Sprint introduced the Mach, it moved over to Boost Mobile, where it can be had without a contract. BTW, once you type on a real keyboard, you'll wonder how you did without it for so long.  When manufacturers list "screen size" in their specs, they don't take into consideration the percentage of the display that is available for viewing when typing.  Using just the physical keyboard makes the experience closer to that of a laptop.  Add a good office app and you're good to go.
