Yep, the first quote above is representative of the problem that will make "unlimited" data go away or become disappointingly slow again. But some people are too oblivious to realize that.

Absolutely. 4G could be faster but in most cases WiFi is plenty fast enough. Use it when you can to conserve the bandwidth for others. Why put pressure on "unlimited" data plans needlessly. (IMHO)

I completely understand but at home I don't use that much data, aside from last night. At work our WiFi is locked down and most apps I use don't work right so WiFi is not a reliable option.

Sad truth. Most workplaces don't have a cool IT manager who sets up a separate virtual guest wifi network for employees to use for their personal devices... Now if only my employees would realize I'm still not going to let them look at porn at work...

yeah but 15 gigs in 2 weeks at work? That's like streaming video the whole time. Maybe you don't have a cool IT manager but you must have a very cool boss. I stream talk shows and music but rarely go over 5 gigs.  Sorry everyone for being off-topic.

1st and Glenn

With this I can confirm the earlier posted ID for river/alvernon is different. Thanks :)

BTW, SignalCheck has a GCI field on HTC devices, it seems. This is all I'm looking for. You don't really need to dig into engineering if SignalCheck is displaying it :)

Here's a screenshot of the LTE engineering screen. I'm near the Riley site.

Lateck,

Awesome! That's the first physical ID I have for anything in Yuma, though, so I couldn't use it to confirm a new site broadcasting. I need engineering screens from a Samsung device for the other 4 too. Hypeo has submitted a unique hex id for that site, though, so we do know it's up and running.

Totally off topic

Could someone give me a link to how I become a member and how much it costs? Maybe I've been up too long, but I've been all over the site and all I can find is a link to paypal on the homepage to make a donation.

Thanks

I'm really curious about those little blips on the north west side of town. They could just be random blips OR maybe another tower lol

Which town?

Combination of streaming while putting data in, apps redownloading after a wipe, restoring with helium from the cloud. I also am out in the field a lot and use my phone to login into the server to connect to the office network when working. Has certainly made work more efficient.

One of my friends just texted me saying that he's getting LTE in Nogales!

I believe someone on this board is from Nogales/Rio Rico so they should probably get to mapping!!

Sensorly or it didn't happen. ;)

Btw, there's lte in Bisbee of all places now per sensorly.

It's legit, I have friends and family that have texted me with screen shots.

I told them to download Sensorly and start mapping so hopefully it shows up later.

I drove from Rio Rico to Nogales this morning and didn't have LTE. If there is LTE it's probably from one of the towers down south. I'll take a drive downtown later today.

Nevermind, I just noticed a couple of Sensorly tracks downtown. I'll see if I can get some engineering screenshots.

So far they're just small islands of fringe signal, but you're welcome to go grab engineering screens anyway ;)

Yuma's Pacific tower is fully identified now. Still need PCIs for A/32, B/20, and 8th/8th. (You sank my battleship!!)

I'm sporting a GS3 now but can't get to the engineering screen
