does this mean we have wait aprox. 8 months for it to start going live? or more like ~3 months?

I doubt it. Just because it took that long for the circuit to go live at my work, doesn't mean it will for Sprint's sites. Not all sites are using ATT either, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

There are tons of variables involved and backhaul is just one of them.

Keep in mind the request for the fiber circuit was put in a long time ago. Alcatel or Sprint are just wating for the backhaul to be put in place. The upgrade equipment for NV sites is already in a staging areas waiting for install. From what I was told it is backhaul that is holding up NV site upgrades. But like squigey says we do have some varibles. Also sites will go live and it will just be dumb luck when we see them. But it is nice to know we are on the upgrade map and it is getting done.... :)

I need to go by that area later today I'll check it out. But I work near the Lakeview/La Palma site and had LTE for little over 24 hours before they stopped accepting LTE signals.

That site has been accepted for a long time, but no one has yet reported a connection.

That was coming from the tower in the La Habra area. That's about as much range as you can expect from it (it was a really weak signal).

Ah that's too bad, I was hoping that they were finally turning on LTE in Brea or Fullerton. Although, to be honest, I'm not sure if we've even got 3g upgrades yet lol

Are they working in Buena Park/Fullerton area? I've been roaming for data and voice.

That's a good sign- that means the connections may be upgrading right now, right?

I have seen the same thing in and around my work here in Anaheim Lakeview and La Palma. Connections would drop and little to no bars. and then 3 days later up came LTE. The LTE is off now but my 3g speeds are back to normal.

I live right off of Anaheim blvd and ball rd and haven't seen the Anaheim tower light up with LTE yet. Will report as soon as I see it go live.
