If possible, you should report the coordinates of new colocations so we can add them to our maps. It would be much appreciated!

Also all towers are now upgraded to 8t8r equipment except towers on :
Cotton
Constitution
Those are mini macros
2nd tower on Zaragoza closer to George dieter still untouched has not been upgraded

Ported back to sprint yesterday. TMO was just to slow and getting slower (very large market share). After further optimization more band 41 going live sprint is getting faster and faster. Also, no volte live yet the I phone has the option, but the network is not making use of it yet here In El Paso. No band 26 as of yet.

Are you still with Sprint as your main carrier? How has the experience been like for you?

Sprint installed at the bottom rack a multi-beam antennas has several sectors built into it.. spread out about 14-18 degrees from each other.. it’s common for stadiums handles a ton of capacity

This is in El Paso, Texas .. in the north side of town .. I’m about 8 miles away from the border it could possibly be coming in from there, but I doubt it

Oh, nice. Keep an eye on it in case deployment starts to spread more.

No I’m ABQ. I haven’t seen any new LTE carriers, volte, or anything. Service has suffered as a result.

Although not much in the city, the East Mountains (where I live) have been having upgrades like crazy. B41 2xca or 3xca on most sites now, along with TMobile roaming and ATT roaming. It’s crazy to see how Sprint is by far one of the strongest now up here. Just months ago it was only B25, and scattered B26 sites.

Does B41 work okay in the mountains?

Yes! Very well surprisingly, but being able to pull traffic away from the B25 2xCA nearly all around makes the experience amazing!

Well I think VoLTE was just launched in ABQ. I was on band 26 and got a call. I took it and then placed my phone on speaker. I looked and it said LTE still. I will try again and get pictures.

It’s live in El Paso as well

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
