You guys don't have intersections? You sound like some fishermen with gps coordinates or lease blocks.. Mississippi Canyon 252 anyone?

Post the pics and they will get up on in progress map. Your phone camera would work as well although not really preferred.

Coordinates makes it easier to find the exact site no site is in a perfect intersection and they are hard to find in google maps

Past by this tower 29.986428,-90.060377 today and there were RRUs and Panels, sorry dont have any picture i dont have a camera maybe someone can pass by it and verify. Also this one 30.018576,-90.122283, i saw them from the car but im pretty sure they been upgraded, hope someone can verify this.

I submitted pictures on this one Dec 30. Well, I put it in my Google Docs link. Not sure if anyone looked at it. Between Uptown, Downtown, Midcity, and Marigny, I only found about 6-7 that even looked like they could be LTE ready.

Nothing new today , checked from kenner to new orleans , didnt even notice a crew along my mapping trip.

If you check any sites please post the site locations that didn't have any work so others can spend their time checking other sites.

I think you should check the Kenner site again near the Best Buy.

Just now I heard that the site in Gonzales was signed off as complete yesterday. It is at I-10 and LA-30. Glad to see the purple near the Kenner site. My New Orleans source has been pretty solid so far.

am changing the Gonzales site to In Progress now. It will go as 4G complete in the update tomorrow.

Awesome. I may have to head out to the Tanger Outlet Mall and check out that Gonzales site.

I just mapped out the Kenner site on sensorly. For those that can't get a connection go into LTE Engineering screen by typing ##DEBUG# into your dialer. I started in Best Buy's parking lot by doing this.

I literally think we were driving right next to each other at one point. I saw some purple just near me that I don't think was me.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
