jreuschl
I drove on Barker, Springdale, And Duplainville Rd tonight, so tht should be some decent mapping. The gas we waste on these mapping trips! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
repete
Saw some purple close to my apartment close to 68th and state. Sure enough I'm getting some 4g at home! I might run to the gym a few miles away and map it, so long as no one takes a look at all the data points to extrapolate how slow I jog.

jreuschl
Looks like there are a few new sites, one in Waukesha around Hwy 164 and 59, Milwaukee on 11th and Mitchell, and another one along I-94 east of Johnson Creek. Oh, and north part of Racine.

I drove right past it with LTE discovery running the whole time. I'm still waiting to see some LTE from the one near Loomis Rd and Layton Ave. That one's been accepted for almost a week I think. What i have noticed with the EVO LTE is that the discovery app does not work...doing a PRL update near the tower you want to connect to reveals the LTE. Tri-Band devices can not come soon enough... Tri-Band devices can not come soon enough... Hmm, doing the PRL update is what worked for me when one of those first couple LTE towers were completed in the northern part of Milwaukee. LTE discovery app works for LTE towers that I have connected to previously, but for new ones I'll have to give the PRL update near the tower a try. jreuschl
So do we need an app for EVO LTE users that updates the PRL every 30 seconds? Meanwhile, I'd like Sprint or Samsung to figure out what the 800 SMR issue is on the Note II so I can have that, too (I know, flash custom.. I want to wait though if there truly is a modem issue)

Jeffas332
Came home from work early today. Wasn't feeling too good. But what's this that I see on my phone? I...is...is that 4G on the South Side of Milwaukee? Could it be? Why, yes! Yes it is! We got fo-gee in da hood and it's not bad, either. I'm a happy cop now. The area in which I live is bounded by Mitchell Street to the north, Sixth St to the East, 13th to the West and Becher St to the South. I'm still feeling a little ill (cough, cough) and I might (cough) take the day off (cough, achoo!) tomorrow and stay in bed (mapping..cough cough).

waoonetwork
If it was the brookfield tower then they tweaked the signal a lot since yesturday cause it was not broadcasting that far along i94. It could be tho now causs that is a fairly new tower as well. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Tried PRL update, Profile Update, LTE Discovery app, nothing. I hope that signal will reach out to the southern part of the airport where I work. Jswets
Ok guys...i can confirm the Waukesha tower is broadcasting a decent LTE signal. I just took a drive and did some mapping along 164/59. Let me start off by saying it was a task just to get LTE to show up on the EVO. I started sensorly and LTE Discovery app before i came within range of the tower. I was at the intersection of Racine and 164. No LTE. I did notice that my signal was around -80 as i came up to the intersection, but i think i was connected to a different tower. As i went north on 164 going towards the dealership/aldi's/cousins i took a right on to Pearl street. I sat in front of Cousins subs which is very close to the tower. My phone did not connect to LTE either. As i was sitting there i did a PRL update...DING DING DING...my phone started to freak out LTE cutting in and out...the phone kept beeping signaling LTE. The funny thing is it never stayed connected. Here is a screen shot showing 3 connections at the same time. Talk about glitchy. The EVO is the single worst phone i have ever had...cell signal wise. Unbelievable. Well since i drove all the way out here i also did a profile update. After the profile update my phone dinged signaling LTE. No EHRPD...just LTE and 1X. At this point i started driving seeing how far i could go before the signal cut out. I almost got to Mooreland rd and noticed -121 on the phone and did a u-banger. I mapped quite a few points and am looking forward to seeing my purple show up on Sensorly tomorrow. As i came back in front of Cousins i did a few speedtests. Pretty decent. Looking forward to more LTE going live. The 7/20 test listed there is in front of Miller Park on the freeway.
