The area he is talking about is in Throggs Neck which is no where near the Grand Concourse. Happy to hear Throggs Neck is starting to see it appear, this part of the Bronx has not seen much action at all yet.

Brookyln is getting all the attention now. so many towers are lighting up with LTE. Queens is left out for now.

Queens has plenty of LTE according to sensorly.

It may look like there is wide coverage but only dark purple areas are usable 4g area. I think less than 10 towers are active in queens.

You should consider becoming a sponsor member so you can have a much better idea of how many and where the accepted sites are located . Also, not having "dark" purple doesn't necessarily mean bad signal rather the device interpreted that way..

If you can take your time searching google for random information you can search S4GRU. Its not that hard, you will find your answers in some of the threads that are pinned.

Maybe I'm missing something, but that map had all the proper pieces of a map. Title..colors..key..notations..etc. Probably one of the most elementary maps. Even easier than the one to match up the 50 states in the 4th grade.

Um, no there isn't....I'm looking at the Sensorly map, there is no purple there and that tower wasn't live a couple of days back. The only purple that's there is by 287.

That's a 10 minute drive from where I was talking about....I mentioned a specific location for a reason, because it hasn't been mapped. *face palm*

No, if I wanted to call you stupid I would come out and say it. My social filter has been taking a vacation for quite some time. It all boils down to being able to communicate as I didn't even read your last sentence as it is too difficult to read and I simply skipped over it.

I may ask you from time to time what something means and do not take offense if I misinterpret something the wrong way due to the language barrier.

Judas Freaking Priest.

Apparently what I wrote back in post # 2274 didn't mean anything. again with back to back posts, adding off topic crap and oh the hell with it, welcome to Banlandia. Maybe some time off will set the rules through your thick heads.

See ya in a week, if it continues, time off increases.

Edit: I will now go back and merge the back to back posts, and remove any off topic ones.

Carry on people.

    • Unable to confirm if it's really off but I noticed this morning that I'm no longer connecting to Band 41 on my home site. Switching my phone to LTE-only pretty much always put me on Band 41 since it was the least used band on T-Mobile's network. Now I'm only able to connect to Band 2/66. Not complaining because it means speeds are faster on LTE and maybe 150MHz n41 is around the corner.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
