New York was awesome.

I didn't do any speedtests, but I was in Midtown, uptown and downtown over mlk weekend.  I got signal (b26) inside the MET.   In my hotel on the 30th+ floor, I had b41 signal.  Everything loads so fast.  I was able to watch a video (480p) inside a theater on broadway during intermission.

I switched back to Sprint last October and I'm loving it. I had jumped shipped in 2012 to At&t and decided to give Sprint another chance and their network has improved tremendously.

I was in Providence, RI for Thanksgiving and it was great out there too.

I have been with Sprint since the 4S, I lived through the rough times. It took a while but Sprint is very good now, especially in NYC.

I guess I hit a rough patch in a section of orlando.. who knows.

He is saying Sprint is terrible in Orlando which is a different opinion from the rootmetrics report.

If Sprint is terrible in Orlando which Sprint has deployed more 41 and 10x10 b25 than anywhere in Florida then Sprint just sucks in Florida period. My experience in Orlando is always really good compared to any other city in Florida.

I think it's more of an issue with Celebration versus urban Orlando. The last time I was in Celebration service was pretty bad, but then again that whole town is different...  :P

Just found something awesome near me!!! Small cell that wasn't a wimax conversion! Brand new! On Macombs and Mount Eden ave in the Bx.

Speeds hovered in the 40's, pings were btwn 50-70s. Pings make me think it's probably fed by cable backhaul (maybe wireless??!).

Regardless, it's awesome!

Small cell porn!

That was quick! (4days from install) Small cell is live on my block!

One screen shot is a block away and the other is indoors, It covers about a 2 1/2 block radius (Bronx blocks might I add!) in every direction.

Backhaul seems to still not be fully provisioned, gives me 1000ping and almost no data. But if the other one I found near me is any indication, after a couple of days it should be on full tilt, that one hits about 80mbs unloaded.

Some customers in Manhattan, Long Island City, & Teterboro NJ may have voice/data issues - working to resolve & apologize for inconvenience. This is from Sprint Care twitter.

I was this morning up until 9:45ish but seems all good now.

Ya, it has been fixed by that time, during the issue, in my Service Mode, I was connecting to band 12 as roaming on T-mobile and unknown network of EARFCN 8216.

8216 is the PCS D block but it just cuts into the bottom of the B block. If it were 8215, it would be right in the D block, but I believe that the D block is owned by T-Mobile in New York...if that is the case, it's interesting it was being broadcasted at band 25...
