S4GRU
I don't think there is anything wrong with speaking their frustration on the slow deployment. I don't see it as complaining but showing their frustration and to hear from other NYC users. To me it seems like you are complaining and frustrated. He is frustrated. At people who troll S4GRU. I don't think there is a difference between complaining and airing your frustrations. Robert
Paynefanbro
Although Sprint does not have LTE everywhere in the city, I have a great experience on their network. I have LTE 70% of the time. The whole 60 Mbps thing is a silly comment because absolutely no carrier has 60Mbps on average. LTE is going to be great in some places and better in others, and that is going to be the case for any carrier. We all know what Sprint is and is not doing. Complaining or "airing out frustration" is not going to make a difference and definitely comes off as trolling a little bit and that's not okay. We are all here to learn.
Deval
pslee said "AS OF NOW". I agree with that. Spark isn't widely available in NYC yet either. I haven't heard from anyone here saying they are getting 60Mbps every where in NYC. I think I saw 1 person mention getting Spark one or 2 times. I took a look at the maps and still don't see any improvement in financial district or most of northeastern Queens. By far, the worst and I would stop anyone from getting Sprint as of now as well. 2015, could be different but not right now. And not especially for those who want and need iPhones. I was in Sunnyside and averaging 30+ on Spark, same goes for Midtown. The fact that people base their carriers on the maximum speed (which has a long list of environmental reasons as to how that speed was achieved), instead of doing a complete needs analysis is sad.

I just looked at the Clearwire/WiMax maps in the Premier Sponsor section for the first time in a while. To find out that my neighborhood was covered in Band 41 goodness since May was a shock!!! I can't wait to get my hands on a Spark device. Just so everyone knows, Spark is all over the place in the city, the chances of you having Spark in your area are pretty high!

IamMrFamous07
When I was in NY last year my service was sprint was really good. A lot of places I was getting faster data than my friend who has verizon. My speeds were better both 3G and lte. - has transit wireless started deploying sprint mini towers in the subway yet? I'm sure they've started, however they are not live yet. It's supposed to happen sometime in the first quarter of this year. They have until March 31st, but I am sure they'll have it up by then. However, I do roam on Verizon in the tunnels, so Verizon's Transit Wireless thing being complete, helps with Sprint anyway.

Ace41690
I doubt It will be done by March. Like everything else, It will be delayed if done at all.

centermedic
Looking in as a third person, Sprint is the worst carrier in the NYC as of now. I advise against anyone to switch to sprint at this point. things might change in the future, but AS OF NOW, sprint is the worst carrier in NYC without any hesitation. Really? You need to at least provide your reasoning.

Paynefanbro
This past acceptance report has been really awesome. It seems like the workers got on the ball after the Polar Vortex. That's a lot of lte sites and best of all, they were all in important areas for myself.
IsaiahL
Im a little sad. It's been a whole year and a half since Sprint started it's roll and I still don't have LTE in my town. Not a stable signal at least. I don't understand why Sprint can't just upgrade the two towers that govern my area. :'( WAA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
