I saw the other day where if you buy a smartphone, you get a free tablet. Surprising that they are running these promotions right in the middle of the release of their top flagships.

I think it's probably to try to juice up sales ahead of new iphone. They either just want to clear out inventory to make space or sales right now are slow as people are waiting for iphone 5.

The promo is for smartphones. I see this as an attempt to get some old stock out and to add subscribers.
