Ive lived down there all my life and never knew there was a Zaxbys down there. Fail.

But yay for b26! Next time I visit I won't be stuck on b25!

It just opened yesterday....It was slammed packed, we had to wait an hour for our food....:-/ But at any rate, the B26 still needs optimized, but it's coming!!

Most are likely on low power mode. There is that chance that sprint is already so congetested there that the speeds are slow but its likely low power. I will happen quick. They had mist of Florida with band 26 within 4 months.

I wonder why the speeds are so slow.. But it should be much needed relief instead of dropping to 3g

I'm getting B26 near Miramar Prkwy and i-75 (The NBC/Telemundo Building).   It's slow (.5 mbps with a 4 meg upload which is odd) but ill take it!

*Update* B26 is much more usable/stable than B25 down here.  I think B25 here was saturated for this cell tower.  It may not be fast but it's constant and I can stream music (which I couldn't do on B25.)

Dumb question I know... But with 800 on now... It only connects to that one band, not 800 and 2.5 right?

Its been a while since i last focused on sprint stuff instead of school

It will connect to the best band possible at that location and given time.

Talk about Nokia showing up with their 8t8r, a record low ping Of 14 just WOW !! Anyone can feel free to to correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recap anything close to 14 being report in this forum.

It would be easier to identify with a signal check screenshot, but with a ping that low I can pretty much make a guess that its not clear b41. That's got to be 8t8r. I don't recall anyone posting a ping that low on this forum. I can't wait for that to be everywhere in Florida. That is actually faster than my home internet, and the ping is better too.

This is my home tower and believe me is Sprint, either way here is the screen shots from signal check.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
