I saw service on 295 around 103rd street... I also had 4g in the Walmart on 220 yesterday....

The tower on Blanding and old Jennings is already built. It's the flag pole on the corner. BTW clay county has more active towers than any other area in the Jacksonville market. I ditched my WiMAX phone back in May. I don't miss out at all. WiMAX was a big headache and not worth the battery drain. It won't be long before LTE is more wide spread.

Is the tower live? I don't see any equipment on it, and when I am at the intersection there I don't get anything better than ok signal, I do get a stronger signal as I get closer to the one in Oakleaf.

The regular network vision site shows (of course it does not show LTE) no work on that site, but does show:

The tower up near College/Blanding had a voice upgrade.

The tower near Oakleaf Plantation/Brannan Field had a voice upgrade.

The tower off of 220 had voice/data/capacity.

 

Does anyone live near Branan Mill Plantation and/or Whisper Creek and confirm strength if any?

Its one of those sites with the hidden panels. I don't believe it had nv upgrades. It's 1x and evdo only.

Shands Bridge is covered now, too. Most of the action is in Orange Park. I wonder if the same crews that'll work in 32259 are doing the Orange Park sites, then moving over to the east a bit.

I got a hit on my phone last night according to my LTE record. I traveled across the hart bridge down university Blvd then down Atlantic to the Walmart on Kernan. So somewhere on that stretch my phone connected to LTE.

 

Also I connected to a site for the first time without cycling airplane mode. I updated my EVO LTE to jelly bean and it looks like HTC increased the scan times. I'll test the connectivity when I go back to work Tuesday and connect to a LTE site.

Interesting you say that because I'm in 32259, too. The site you're talking about is about complete. The new antennas are already installed and I saw them installing back haul last week. It's only a matter of time.

I'm on cr 210, and none of the sites on 210 have even started yet. :'(

I think backhaul might already be connected. 3G is consistently above 1 mbps. When I was last here, during the summer, getting 600 kbps was a nice surprise. My signal isn't the greatest, either. It varies between -80 and -100 dBm in different parts of my house. Hopefully they're just in the last stages of testing LTE.

I drove past the site that shows in progress on Soutel Dr and I didn't see any panels or any workers could that mean that the backhaul is install and work is ready to begin?

In progress sites mean its been confirmed by another user that work has started there. Sometimes it'll be backhaul installation and sometimes it'll be antenna work or even new cabinets.

Not necessarily. About half of the In Progress reports come from Sprint sources. They are more likely to be able to report early in Progress work, like backhaul work and equipment deliveries. Our members are more likely to report panel installs and other more visible work. So it can go either way.

Well, I saw a truck drive into the site area nearly 3 weeks ago and I figured they were about to start. I checked today and nothing. :x

 

I'm becoming inpatient because every single other carrier has 4g lte (or HSDPA+ speeds) in my area. Hopefully Ericsson jumps the gun and pushes harder than other OEMS

I wouldn't mind LTE 800, either. Maybe then I can get some signal at work.

Right now I have to flash a verizon PRL to make phone calls while I'm at work. I wished Roam Ctrl worked on 1900 mhz band too.

I must say since this jb update my evo LTE connects to LTE sites almost instantly. Made me fall in love with it again. Any way back on topic. There's a couple sites marked in progress I wonder how many more site will get worked on in the coming months.

There's a blip of LTE on the riverside of JulingtonCreek river. West of the neighborhood, River Oaks Plantation. My friend lives there, so I'll check it out sometime this week and map it, of course.
