I understand Birmingham is not a priority market, but we don't have wimax and aren't showing up on the current lineup for NV. Is there any info on when it will get here? I need 4g, I sell Verizon but use Sprint for my personal account... I've had lte on my work phone since October... I just really don't like big red, and would like to get that speed on my evo.

The Alabama market is not scheduled to begin Network Vision/LTE deployment until 2013.

Hah, I asked S4GRU this same thing a few days ago :)

 

Found out iDEN towers will not be replaced by CDMA either :/. Sprint's network is limited when out of the metro out in West Jefferson county, but in B'Ham its been steadily improving.On 280 we went from 50kbps to 1mbit/s after the non network vision upgrades they have done recently.

 

Go to network.sprint.com and look at all the recent improvements!
