greg4lte
AJ, thanks for the explanation. It does appear that the folks at SPRINT themselves are a little behind in knowing what coverage is where.... i look forward to participating in the forums and learning more. We do have LTE coverage here, so I look forward to testing it out when I get my Samsung Victory. Greg
tndank
Hey Greg - Someone pointed it out earlier, but Sensorly.com maps are going to be much more accurate in most cases. They aren't perfect, but you can get a sense of what's been captured on a real device in the field. Check it out and map some in the future if you discover new places. Nashville isn't completely covered, but there's a good bit of LTE around much of Nashville and down towards Murfreesboro.

greg4lte
As I find LTE coverage in Middle TN, I would like to add it to sensorly. How does that work? download an app? How to you "add coverage" to the map when you discover it? Thanks! Hey Greg - Someone pointed it out earlier, but Sensorly.com maps are going to be much more accurate in most cases. NanoVirus
I see that 4G is showing up on I40 all the way to the mall, too bad my phone can't make a connection. Mapped out some more in White Pine, and some spotty coverage around the Sevierville exit.
ddaniels3968
Where are you guys showing Sprint 4G LTE coverage in NASHVILLE? Are you sure you aren't misintrepreting that as WIMAX? I don't see any 4g LTE coverage anywhere on the maps anywhere in the Nashville METRO area.... Columbia, Lewisburg, and Shelbyville are the only areas that show Sprint4GLTE coverage so far. i'm getting a Samsumg Victory in a few days, so I will be able to report on the coverage here. but.. I don't think Nashville has it yet..... Nashville has the most 4G LTE in the whole state so far. greg4lte
Sprint sometimes calls Middle TN the "NASHVILLE MARKET". Sprint said today they had finished "Network Vision" in Lewisburg, Shelbyville, and Columbia. With that said, LTE only reaches about 3-4 miles away from the tower. (only 1 tower upgraded in each city)
JuAnM269
Might make some people happy but drove by the Hutchinson Ave tower this morning to find the spools of new coax, moving the cabinets into place, and of course the most important the guys assembling the antennas on the ground with all 3 ruus in place. And sorry for the bad pics I was zooming in from across the street. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta

greg4lte
Here are some recent screen shots of LTE and 3G speed tests. You can definately tell when it reverts back to 3G. Wonder how long these insane 4G LTE speeds will last?

Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2 The only problem is that I have a 64gb card and I have already used up 75% of it, I like the idea of Google Backups and Dropbox, but my spotty 3G would not make them a viable candidate at this time. nocturnal
Went to UTK and ran some speed tests: However, outside of UT the 4G drops to a slower 1.3 mb - 2.5 mbps. Edited June 4, 2013 by nocturnal
NanoVirus
Is there a second tower along I40 that is broadcasting LTE, since it is picking up near the mall?
ddaniels3968
I was just on I40 going west past Campbell Station Rd and had 4G dropped out by the time I got to the weigh station though Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
greg4lte
Went from Lewisburg, TN to Franklin, TN today . . 4G LTE in Columbia ..On Bear Creek Pike, was full bars, speed about 13mbps....., going up I65 into Spring Hill...... around 9mbps off Main St @ Target. Going into Franklin.....Only 3G around Mallory Lane............. Picked up a 2 bar 4G LTE signal around BestBuy around Moores Lane.... Speed test 1.6mbps (ummm, isn't that a 3G speed)?? Maybe they aren't finished upgrading here... Back home in Lewisburg, back to around 25mbps. My data usage is only being calculated when on 3G... When i'm on 4GLTE, its appears to not be metered. I have used almost 1GB in 6 days (mostly testing speeds). My usage online says i've used 11.5MB.... Haven't really figured out how to PLOT out 4G on Sensorly.... mhuling
I'm on my 3rd HTC One, 2nd refurbished (don't ask). This one hasn't connected to any LTE in Maryville whatsoever. Is anything wrong with the towers at the moment, or did I get another bad refurb? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
