JT3D
Yea I've been itching to get down to that area. My fiance is from Newport News and next time we are down there I plan on taking full advantage of my unlimited data...haha. But yea I do miss having my E4GT because of WiMax when I travel north a bit to Richmond/Chesterfield but I'm rarely in those areas. I checked the sprint.com/network page and it said that towers in my area were given a capacity upgrade and a speed upgrade in the past 6 months so I'm sure this wasnt NV related BUT I am happy my phone is usable now. NichLTONO
While heading to work today on Highway 153 in Hixson, TN, I noticed north of Northgate Mall that I had 4G LTE coverage to my surprise. Even while I arrived at work, I had the same coverage. I had a speedtest of: My Speedtest result in Hixson for Sprint (LTE) : 7.92 Mb/s (download) & 2.40 Mb/s (upload) via #sensorly On the way home from work, I noticed that it covered till Amnicola Hwy. I am pleased that finally it has arrived, however, I'm hoping that the coverage will reach my home, which is near the airport. :-)

Maybe in a few more month's at the pace they are going. Downtown is covered nicely though. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
rootlinux
I can't find anything showing it active around this area. Yesterday about three miles from my house I hit LTE with over 13mps up and over 9mps down. Why can't I find any info on this or any activity in this area. Can't see anything on Sensory or Sprint LTE coverage maps.
mdob07
Its not officially launched so it won't show up on sprints maps yet. If its new, it probably hasn't been mapped on sensorly yet. You should map it out. If you become a sponsor you can see the map of accepted sites. Sprint is mostly leaving each site live after acceptance, where Verizon and AT&T wait until a majority of sites are ready before letting users connect. There may just be one tower complete in your area for now.
NanoVirus
Was able to pick up some 4G around the TN/VA state line. Even saw a guy climbing a tower. Tried to map as much as I could, lost 4G once I got close to exit 20 in Va.
S4GRU
There was a few additional LTE sites in the Greeneville/Tri-Cities area that were on acceptance reports last night. I will try to post them later today on Sponsor maps. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
tre
Just picked up 4g in Clarksville, TN at the corner of Hwy 41a and Mcadoo Creek. Was driving so couldn't get speed test.

Tried to map as much as I could, lost 4G once I got close to exit 20 in Va. On my way to work on interstate 81, I usually get lte just after exit 13 and lose it around exit 19. Around town (Abingdon) is mostly covered, but not the whole town. I haven't been down around the Tn/Va state line lately, that would be nice if they got lte around Bristol area, which I would think they are working on to get the Bristol race track area fired up with lte before the race next month. Hammer
Found more LTE in the "Tri-cities" area, along interstate 81 I picked up LTE around exit 22 and had it all the way up to exit 26, which was as far as I was going. I'll try to go further some time soon to see how far north on 81 they've got. I got a speed test around mile marker 23/24 of 17.83 Mbps down and 11.27 Mbps up. Seems like sprint is moving along pretty good in the Abingdon/Meadowview area. NanoVirus have you noticed any LTE in the Bristol area?? I would think they would be close with the race almost here. None in Britstol, Tn. Some on the Va side. It looks as though they are working their way towards the track, last time I was there 3G speed was pretty decent, don't know how it will hold up when everyone and their grandma shows up though. Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, I think last year,(at the 250) I couldn't hardly get any thing to go through. Had full bars, but probably 50,000 people on the network......like a turtle!!! shores
Had LTE around the Rivergate Mall area today in Nashville. Also was able to pick it up starting North of Nashville on I65 past exit 98 all the way up to Whitehouse area

JuAnM269
Sorry it's been a while guys. Knoxville has had nothing lately to report. All the towers I've been watching seem to be at a halt. I did pickup 4g at the Clyde exit in NC this morning but other then that I've seen nothing new lately. I'm gonna try and make a trip to Cleveland tomorrow on my way back to Chattanooga and see if I can get a signal from that new tower they finished there. ice8030
Yeah LTE is popping up everywhere around knoxville. Sadly i think it going to be a while to.

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2 I wonder if with the weather and other delays that the crew started work on the surrounding areas and when Knoxville was ready to start work again, they were told to finish up the area they are in now. zevot
I noticed in the last week or so that I am picking up 4g signals around Nashville. An actual data connection seems nonexistent whenever it switches to 4G though. I hope it actually starts working soon because streaming audio stops each time it picks up 4G. I don't know, the weather is almost always worse on the areas outside of knoxville. I'd assume it'd be easier to work in the Knoxville area while other areas are recovering from weather delays. Steve Dean
A question to those in the know. I was looking at the NV map versus a map available on Sprint's website that displays the tower locations to be upgraded. I see towers that are on the Sprint map that are not pinned on the NV map. Does this mean if the tower is not yet scheduled to be upgraded at this time if is not pinned on the NV map? . Thanks for the insight. Hammer
There is a tower right on the track, but it doesn't appear to have had any work done to it. I was told the other day, whether it's true or not, that cell companies were allowed to boost signals at sporting events and whatnot, but this year they have been banned from doing that. brandonnash
Finally getting 4g at work in Belmont area. Seems to be a testing phase because it is very slow. In fact I think it may have just been turned on. In the same spot I had 3g just a bit ago and now its showing 4g. Will run a speed test in a bit.
