kckid
It has been very quite as we are approaching mid 2012. Any rumor on when Sprint will turn on first batch of LTE cities?
S4GRU
They will "launch" a few markets in June and July. However, I am expecting to see some live LTE sites to stop being blocked prior to launches. kendog
Puerto Rico start in june!!! Only 7 sites live around the island. I received this information.
S4GRU
If 7 sites are live now, how can you say it starts in June? Wouldn't it be more proper to say it has already started? Just saying. Also, one of our members has already shown us pics of a NV site in Yauco, PR. But he posted it in a Sponsor area. NV is indeed underway in PR. 2fastkuztoms
Para los boricuas: Here is the photo I took from Yauco site, according to the PR schedule on the sponsors forums is one of the first site to get NV installed. You can see that there is NV equipment installed, but the site its not live, 3g speeds are 100-200kb, so seem backhaul is not ready yet. gr8nuguy circle the NV equipment If you want to test it, the antenna is located in the town of Yauco, on El Cerro & Sector El Amil (Not a good place to hang around so be careful if you want to see it closely), you can see it from highway and test it from Wendy's area or downtown. Jarm: There's an antenna in guayanilla and peñuelas that always gave me great speeds, but they're on schedule on july. O sea hay una antena que siempre da buenas velocidades en Guayanilla y Peñuelas pero aun no tiene network vision, se espera para julio empiezen a instalarles el equipo.

A is limited to 3.1Mbit/s per channel but you're likely to only see about 2.54Mbit/s max, Basically you're sharing that 3.1Mbit/s with everyone connected to that channel. At Ponce the signal and voice service has improved but the data is slow(200-450kb). 3-4 month ago I had 1-1.5 mb. Supposely there a one site live in guaynabo. strung
Dumb question: why block the LTE sites? Don't they just hand off to eHRPD if you go out of range? Maybe I am missing something.

Sent from my 4g intact rommed MoPho! I believe West Virginia is a Shentel market, so robert does not have much information on them, but shentel has already joined in Network Vision, and is going to have a majority of towers done in 2012.
