  1. Unfortunately not; I finished up the work there. I am currently up in Binghamton NY this weekend and despite being under LTE, it seems that calls are dropping when changing bands(from 26 to 25). Very strange....apparently on my end I can still hear the person I'm talking to, but on their end my voice is digitally rastered and skips.
  2. So I was back in that basement again, but my phone did an update and was left without cell service throughout the day until I left; I used my T-Mobile hotspot to get emails, texts, and calls all day....so I used the Wifi calling and NOT Calling Plus.
  3. I'll be going back to that basement next Wednesday. Haha
  4. I was in a basement today and tried making a few phone calls....started off as LTE but then dropped down to 3G. Didn't lose the call at all, but obviously couldn't use data until AFTER the call was finished. I was connected to a different tower afterward too so I am baffled by it. I know, I should have taken some screenshots....my bad.
  5. Well, according to Sprint, when having your phone set to solely Calling Plus you apparently can't get wireless alerts... HOWEVER, this morning I woke up to an Amber Alert. So Sprint has entirely no clue what their own network is capable of!
  6. I still haven't been on 3G yet on this phone.....I just want to see what happens if that were to occur. I haven't rooted this phone yet either....nor used QPST. I've been so damn busy! :/
  7. Every time I've made calls while looking up data it's always on Band 26....it works well. I'd prefer that over the overcrowded Band 25 and the short-ranged Band 41.
  8. So I was down in Galloway, NJ today(off of Garden State Parkway Exit 41) and was on Band 26 all day; data worked fine, but when making phone calls(calling my job as there was an issue) it kept having some weird delay/echo before finally dropping the call. Afterward, the phone was saying "Searching for Service" with the Calling Plus icon gone, HOWEVER the LTE signal was decent and still pulling in data. Tomorrow I shall be out out in the Delran/Willingboro area so we'll see what happens out there.
  9. After following this thread I purchased a Galaxy J7 Perx.....now mind you I live near the Jersey Shore and there's a cell tower on top of a water tower near me roughly less than a mile to my north. Right off the bat the phone did the update for "Calling Plus"...okay. That took 10 minutes. My first call to my brother(another Sprint customer) was alright, but couldn't access any data.....this is where the MSL code comes in handy! Went into the ##DATA# debug and changed the Band priorities(25 was 1st, set that to 4th and put 26, 41, & 12 ahead of it). Second, in the Carrier aggregation settings I turned all of them on....this reset the phone. I then tried calling voicemail and checking out some simple websites and it crystal clear and no drops at all. I'll test it out more tomorrow as I'll be going further inland.
