  1. Pardon my ignorance - Can anyone explain a "Clearwire Protection Site"? Protecting whom, or what? TIA.
  2. Fantastic! I've been looking for something similar to this, on MIUI ROMs, other places, etc. I've got the free version installed on my very old Samsung Epic 4G with modem EC05. When I launch the app, it tells me I have the exact same signal strength for 1X and 3G all the time, everytime. Others have pointed out that RIL implementations by various vendors may be to blame for certain anomalies. Do you think it's the same here? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Ha! the forum marks me as 'smoke signal' level, which I assure you isn't true
  3. Great stuff, really love these articles. Amazing how many radios our devices are packed with. What's funny is how the screenshots depict a mobile locked to a WiFi signal in addition to camping on EVDO / LTE freqs.
  4. Only one minor thing: In the VzW roaming calculation, my numbers differ from yours by .25 MHz (my numbers BOLD): So, that VZW channel 425 is centered at 837.5 MHz (837.75 MHz) x 882.5 MHz (882.75 MHz), which is toward the bottom of the Cellular B block license, as we will see in just a moment. --> Can you check? Thanks!
  5. Seems like the perfect place to ask - what's the best PRL for a Sumasung Epic owner like me? I'm looking for the best 3G PRL since WiMax is pretty thin near the house. TIA. EDIT: Sure WiFi works on my device, but still, need something to improve here. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
