  1. An update from ISN's Twitter: @InsideSprintNow UPDATE: Some of our EVOs have cleared customs, but not entire shipment. Updating blog w/details in the next few minutes.

  3. I posted this on the article but wanted to share in the forums too. Looks like HTC fixed this in the One series as well as the Evo LTE. Now we just have to wait for customs to be convinced. www.theverge.com/2012/5/16/3024889/htc-one-x-evo-4g-lte-custom-android-build-apple-patent-linkify
  4. It looks like HTC loaded a US specific firmware on the One X and the Evo 4G LTE to avoid infringing on crApple's patent. Sucks we all have to wait while HTC convinces the court of this. www.theverge.com/2012/5/16/3024889/htc-one-x-evo-4g-lte-custom-android-build-apple-patent-linkify
  5. who is ISN? Edit: Never mind. My excitement has apparently made me an idiot.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Each employee would need to assemble 2,500 phones. Assuming they worked nonstop it would take them just under 42 hours to get them all done.
  7. Will this affect best buy and amazon pre-orders as well or just sprint?
  8. I ordered mine from Bestbuy. The order page said it should be delivered between 5/11 and 5/16. Now they are just saying that its a pre-order. We'll have to see when they start rolling out. Oh, And I wanted to share this with you guys: https://insidesprintnow.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/20120418_htc_evo_4g_lte_user_guide.pdf
  9. The whole thing about the note coming to sprint is odd. The phone came out on October across the pond and both sprint and Samsung seam to be doing little to dispel the rumors. Having been a loyal consumer of Samsung devices this saddens me. I've had an upgrade pending since February and am tired of waiting. I don't know about the sense ui but if the evo lte makes it to stores first I'll give up the half inch of screen to get a new phone, this old epic has been great but it's time to move on.
  10. Hmmm.. I do hope that it is 4G because a 3G note is a retarded idea. This is how sprint shoots themselves in the foot so often.
  11. Its conceivable that Sprint has had their hands on the device since February just waiting for the agreement with AT&T to run out. Robert would know more but either way i'm foaming at the mouth hoping that this device drops soon.
  12. Assuming a 90 day exclusivity on AT&T we still have until the middle of May until Sprint can launch it. Plenty of time for testing before a possible launch. This could be a flagship device and sprint would be making a huge mistake to make it 3G only.
  13. I did a quick search on google to see if i could find out how longer it took for the iPhone to become available after sprint did something like this but no info that i could find. If anyone else can find something I'd love to see it. However log it takes I want one!, I doubt it will be 3G since the note is LTE over at AT&T so why wouldn't it be on Sprints shinny new LTE network?
  14. Apple's marketing department is truly amazing and the way the average user speaks of them shows that. All that said I really wish that Apple would focus on innovation rather than trying to sue competitors out of the market.
  15. I'm really sad I haven't seen Arizona on the list yet. I upgraded from my Samsung Moment to the Epic 4g and was then charged the data fee that was attributed to 4G phones only even though I didn't have any 4G to connect to. I paid the fee thinking that one day I'd get the 4G and the little bit I was paying would help that along. Now I hear that Sprint is moving to LTE meaning that my WiMax Epic would never see the light of 4G. I had hoped that Sprint would correct this by announcing Phoenix as an LTE city within 2012 but with the recent updated from S4GRU my hopes are fading fast. I really hope I see Phoenix on the list soon....
