  1. Starting to sound like Donald Rumsfeld!
  2. Flashed yesterday. Once I figured out and fixed my corrupted /data partition things are working very well! Can you expand on the "missing other modem tweaks" part of the quote above? I'm coming from the 4.1 bootloader, and the reason I didn't go the clean 4.3 route was concern about the tripped warranty efuse. Am I missing a great deal from a modem performance standpoint by not doing that? Thanks to both Digiblur and COZisBack for all of your work on this!
  3. I'd love to test too, if another person is needed. I was on the original Digiblur Note2 rom up until I made the poor decision of moving to MK4!
  4. According to Sensorly it shouldn't be that dead in that area!
  5. Rode the Metro today and had LTE pop up at both the White Flint and Twinbrook stops. Unfortunately Sensorly/my phone was acting up and I couldn't map it.
  6. They would probably be a lot further along if they would just stop executing their vendors.
  7. To clarify: the notification that Tasker would be able to act upon would be a new status bar notification. I've tried to get it to work on the Ongoing notification that is already provided, but with changes to the way jellybean handles them Tasker can't act upon that type. However, from what I understand it can act upon a "regular" (setOngoing=false) notification. So dream setup would be SignalCheck having a configurable option to send a non-ongoing notification when entering LTE, and another one when exiting LTE. This would make LTE hunting with Tasker and Sensorly dreamy. Feel free to contact me for any more information I can offer! Thanks again for considering this.
  8. Just bought the Pro app. Liking it so far! Since I rely on Tasker to fire up Sensorly to map LTE in my area, would it be possible to expose the LTE status to Tasker? Whether that's in the form of a Tasker plug-in, a notification in the status bar (in addition to the vibration and sound) or even the option to create a file when LTE is detected and delete it when you lose the LTE signal, or something else entirely. From looking at the things that Tasker can see, an additional notification might be the easiest option. One that is a regular notification, because Tasker apparently can't see the persistent notifications that SignalCheck currently uses (at least not on my Galaxy Note 2). The reason I ask is that currently I use Tasker's built-in method of determining what type of network connection you have (3G/LTE), but it doesn't work very well. I think this is because it uses the APN to determine which network you're on, and the APN can lag quite a bit when when you leave LTE. Thanks for the app, and for entertaining this request!
  9. From what I can tell there's not a huge difference between downtown DC and up north in MoCo as far as 3G goes. I don't have too many complaints in either place. Where there has been LTE deployed downtown though... that's a different story! Hop on the red line and get off at Chinatown. You'll see.
  10. From Sensorly it looks like the tower on the Mandarin Oriental (12th SW & D SW) was lit up some time between Friday and today. Can't wait to get some mapping done on Wednesday!
  11. How do we make you stop?? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  12. The variable issue is one that I've addressed in some tweaks I've made. I'll try to find the time to post the updated files soon.
