  1. SCP works on my V60 with Android 10 but it's completely useless on my V50 and G8 with Android 10. So things don't look promising. Mike, I've had to switch to cell mapper which updates info very rapidly and accurately like SCP used to. The developer of it is having to work within the same confines you are, is it possible for you to find out what makes cell mapper work correctly even on Android 10 and implement it in SCP? I really prefer your app for it's simplicity. Sent from my LM-V600 using Tapatalk
  2. I think Mike said 5g support was coming in the next big update. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  3. Try a factory reset and do not restore from a backup. Do a fresh install of all your apps. It worked for me. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  4. There are those who see technology as magic and then there are those of us who see it as science and try to understand the how and why it works. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  5. I got frustrated enough to go to the nuclear option. Full factory reset and did not restore from a backup. SCP is now refreshing every 5 to 10 seconds, not quite the every second I prefer but still much more usable than when it takes several minutes. I wish I could identify specifically what is causing this. I don't think it is intended behavior if it is indeed the result of power management. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  6. I have bad news to report. After a device restart my previous issue has returned. Signal bars and SCP no longer updating correctly [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  7. I've spotted 64t64r equipment on several towers over there past few months and when connected to them my phone will display 5g but I can confirm through field test that 5g is not actually active. They are configured as 3x ca on the DL and only single channel uplink LTE currently. Is Sprint planning to flip the switch once the majority of the towers are upgraded? 8. So, my V50 got the Android 10 update and scp is now working like normal again. I'm so relieved and happy! Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  9. I can drive several miles without it updating. I've been trying to pay attention and it looks like the signal strength bars on the notification bar aren't changing either. So it does look like it's an issue with the phone rather than scp. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  10. On both my Sprint LG V50 and Unlocked Amazon LG G8 information on signal check only refreshes on launch or under some Network change conditions. Basically it's almost always displaying very stale info. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk
  11. Mike, did you ever figure it what was causing network information not to update on new LG devices? It only refreshes on launch or when certain changes happen to the connection. SCP has been basically useless to me for the past 6 months 😭
  12. It looked like something is going right with the tower on Southeast 15th and Air Depot. It's one of the ones with three panels: a dual band, a 1900, and a 2600 mini macro per sector. Sent from my N9560 using Tapatalk
  13. The low band is only overloaded when it is improperly being used for capacity rather than coverage. This is especially absurd when the provider has more than enough spectrum in the high band and can drop a cheap mini macro in the spots where low band is taking a beating. Too bad all the mini macro equipment is going on already over spaced macro sites rather than filling in the numerous trouble spots in my market. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  14. There is a newer QC 3.0 version of the Chotech that is higher capacity in the same form factor. Something interesting I have noticed is that it will charge at up to 2.6 amps from a non quick charge adapter, which is basically the same speed it will charge from a quick charge port (9v 1.5a). There is no USB C port on it though, just a lightening input for iPhone users. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  15. For anyone experiencing the battery drain issue I dida factory reset and that solved it. Kind of a pain in the rear to do, but thankfully I can make it far longer that 10 hours before the battery dying. As of right now I'm at 45 hours unplugged with 2.5 hours of screen on time.
  16. It makes a lot more sense if this is basically warranty service being provided by Ericsson. I was operating under the impression that Sprint was paying for the swap when it would have been a much better investment to deploy band 41 and then worry about upgrading the band 25 equipment later.
  17. Regardless, one additional CDMA carrier isn't going to make a difference in a network that is not experiencing voice congestion nor is one additional EV-DO carrier going to alleviate data congestion. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  18. Sometimes trying to understand Sprint logic makes my head hurt. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  19. Sprint sold 10MHz of their PCS B license to deathstar back in 2009. 6 CDMA carriers is all that can be deployed on PCS. So split mode would not be a bottleneck ever unless they acquired more PCS spectrum. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
