  1. Thanks for the info. Its been awhile since I was on the site. Ill go to the correct forum, I still have some questions.
  2. Sorry if this is wrong thread but had a quick question. The tower I hit is still 3g but when I was logged into the sprint web site and check coverage it says my area is lte. I noticed the coverage map recently changed but obviously it's no accurate. Does anyone know why this is? I was thinking an update was coming but it's been like this at least a couple weeks. Thanks
  3. Okay with lte active in some spots I decided to try my sure call dual band mobile amp CM2000-WL 40db. It seemed to improve the signal for 1st but made it slower on lte. Does anyone know why the difference? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  4. I had to call airave support last week because of very poor service lately south of I70 in bennett and my airave hasnt been working. I was asking about changing from the note 2 to a phone that can access more frequency. The tech saif it will prob be better to wait til summer as sprint will be coming out with wifi calling capable phones. Has anyone heard if this is accurate? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  5. Okay I'll give it a shot. It's back to 3g in the same area. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  6. I had to call tech support tonight because my service was working ìntermittenly throughout the day. The tech said three towers in the Bennett area are down and the repairs should be completed by weds (01/08/2014) around 5pm. She also said the Bennett tower is scheduled to go live LTE by January 12 and it sounded like some of the other towers in the area should go live too. She said a tower in Elizabeth on County Road 17 is live LTE but Ihave not been able to recieve the signal. Has anyone noticed a change? I was told about a month ago the Denver market should be completed by Feb 2014. She said there was a trouble ticket for the tower outage and that I could view the progress online. Does anyone know how to check the status of the trouble tickets?
  7. Does anyone know if there are any Sprint LTE Boosters out yet. I found one by wilson but I have tried there boosters in the past which didnt work. When I asked Wilson about the problem they said there boosters are not guaranteed to work. Since then I have a Surecall 40db which has been a signifigant improvement. With Sprint upgading alot of the towers out here I am keeping my eye out and was curious if anyone heard anything?
  8. The other thing that is weird is the tower doesnt show up on the network.sprint.com search and never has. But when I did a little research on the tower and the company that maintains it they have confirmed its a nextel/sprint tower. So maybe it will take some time to get that tower going?
  9. We have an old Nextel tower that was shut down earlier this summer. A couple days ago I saw a crew working on the tower and stopped in to see what was happening. One of the guys said they were upgading the tower to LTE for sprint and last night they would be conducting the switch and working on the GPS. The last few weeks I have had some service interuptions which I thought was because of the upgade. The guy on the crew I spoke with pointed out the samsung equipment and confirmed it was an LTE upgrade and he said I should be able to see the improvements today (tuesday). I have noticed the service to be working but its not LTE. My question is with the upgrade can it still take a while to get it up and running or is somethig else needing to happen to get the tower to the LTE. I drove out a short distance from the tower to see if it would switch but only stayed on 3g.
  10. I passed this tower several times a week that I think is a Nextel tower. I was curious if sprint is upgrading these towers to the LTE as a regular practice? I'm assuming at some point in time they will be removing the hardware from this tower but have not seen anything yet. Is there anything to watch for? Thanks
