  1. Took almost an hour, but finally ordered one. Called the number listed on the thread and the first guy I talked to knew what I was talking about and saw the offer on my acct, accepted it, then transferred me to telesales. Of course telesales had no idea what I was talking about, so transferred me around to ppl trying to get me to add another line and sell me a wifi hotspot. (Even got transferred to Virgin Mobile at one point!!) Eventually, they got it figured out and ordered.
  2. Don't take any chances. Just call/webchat them now and have them credit your account. That's what I did. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  3. For anyone that pre-ordered the Note 4 on Sprint's site for $349, note that they have decreased the price to $299 (w/ 2 yr contract). They will not automatically refund you the difference. You need to call or webchat them and let them know you'd like a refund. Try to do so early, before your phone ships, so you have a little more leverage.
  4. I just web chatted them, they said they'll credit my account the $50 now. Thanks for the post. I'm going to post a comment in the front page S4GRU GN4 article as well to hopefully let anyone else in the same situation know.
  5. Damn, I already pre-ordered for $349 on the Sprint site and they charged my credit card already. I wonder if they'll give me the $50 back? Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  6. I think the $200 back with trade in is available on the Sprint website as well - there's a link there directly to Samsung who'll send you a check instead of a gift card.
  7. This is how they get ppl to upgrade their phone every year Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  8. More like one AP with lots of antenna tentacles spread throughout the facility. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  9. What my brother does w/ his GS5 is that he has one of those camera straps on his bumper case, and carabiners that to his tube. I think I'll probably end up getting one of those dry cases as you mentioned. I'm not sure how much those affect the camera and speaker quality since they put an extra layer over both. At least I can take some calls and take care of things in the meantime. Would also be nice to have the phone around in case of emergency, etc... One of the best parts of living in the Reno-Tahoe area. If you guys are ever in the area or go to LV, let me know and I'll point you towards the best places to go.

  11. That's nuts the number of bands that A1586 supports. I wish android manufacturers would do that too. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  12. Here in Reno, a popular summer activity is to go tubing down the Truckee River. We usually go for about 3 hours, which is a long time to be phoneless. Sometimes we go down to Las Vegas, where beach / day clubs are a big thing. Unless you're a high roller and can spring for a table or cabana, there isn't really anywhere you can set your stuff down. Ppl just roll up their clothes in a towel and put it in a pile with everyone else's stuff, so it's not the ideal place to put a phone. Thus, the decision comes down to not bringing your phone out at all, but then being phoneless for a large part of the day. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah, I'm disappointed with the lack of water resistance. I was all ready to upgrade. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
