  1. Wells Fargo the last supporters of Sprint are throwing them under the bus since they haven’t seen any action from from them. I am eager to look at the quarter earnings and how much they spent this past quarter, but what will open my eyes is quarter one which close in June. That will tell me if little Massa is starving Sprint again in hope of getting that merger with T-Mobile.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

For those that think that T-mobile going into the fall and be successful in the high band auction, they are delusional. The fact of the matter is the reason why they were successful in the 600mhz was due to Verizon and T sitting out something that will not happen with the next auctions. Also, Verizon is telling phone manufacturers to put the 3.5ghz radios in their products by year end which tell me Verizon will go after the 3.5ghz band with a vengeance. There are only 150 MHz in the 3.5ghz, cable companies, Verizon, AT&T, and Google want a piece of it. These companies that I mentioned have deep pockets and Tmobile will just be bringing a knife into a gun fight. Sprint should be deploying the massive MIMO radios everywhere while its competitors are busy with high band auctions.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

And this is why I would refuse a merger now. Sprint doesn't need Tmobile but CAPEX. With 5G approaching and all the small regional carriers like US cellular lacking 5G spectrum, they will be forced to sell once and for all.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

Tmobile has 30 billion in debt now due to the acquisitions of 600mhz and 700mhz spectrum over the last 3 years however investors and Wall Street don't care because the company is profitable and it has the capacity to pay its bills. Also, the company is adding more postpaid customers than the other three combined every quarter. What Marcelo did after getting appointed as CEO of Sprint in 2014 spend billions on cut and half promotions instead of investing in their core product which is the network. Then after burning a few billion Softbank engaged in talks with Tmobile about merging and the DOJ shot it down. I just wonder what is Son and Softbank are trying to do here because at the end of the day the Germans want the combined company for themselves. Deutsche Telekom wants Sprint customer base and the 204mhz of the spectrum but doesn't want any part of the 36 billion debt that Sprint is carrying. Had Sprint would be investing around 4.5 billion on CAPEX for the last 4 years they would have a nationwide good network and would have leverage on any M&A discussions.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

According to the Financial Times Softbank was the one that started the talks about a merger again. So it seems that since Softbank has over 135 billions in debt that the board is forcing little Massa to sell unprofitable assets. They will unload Sprint to T-Mobile and they will be happy to take 25% in a combined company.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

Like I said Little Massa went on a spending spree for the last 3 years putting Softbank further in debt. Now the banks like Mizuho which I am very familiar with who happens to own a stake in Softbank wants them to unload unprofitable assets. Guenther leaving or kick out when he is more needed regarding the launch of Massive MIMO and 5G sent a red flag through my spine.

Funny these talks just when the new quarter is about to start regarding spending over 6 billion on CAPEX. Pink Mobile needs the 2.5ghz band for 5G and they are desperate for new spectrum.

All that will be on hold like it has been for the last 3 years.

I think this time it will happen, and anyone that is experiencing terrible coverage better port now because the current Sprint will not fix it.

    Sprint Tmobile merger Disc.

Little Massa Son has gone on a spending spree for the last few years putting Softbank in massive debt which the board is now making him sell some of the assets that are not profitable. Brightstar is on sale, and now Sprint will follow.
  11. They will have to wait until November to bid on the new auction if the FCC goes with its plan without delays. This is where Sprint needs to go ballistic and deploy those massive radios.

Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

iPhones are slow compared to the Galaxy lines when it comes to radio, nevertheless Sprints speeds have gone up dramatically here in New York. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

Verizon wireless speeds haven’t suffered here in Manhattan. All of their small cells are fed by the same fiber lines that FIOS run on it. Also, they are deploying those massive big single antennas next to their AWS radios. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Tmobile doesn't have spectrum for 5G and the clock is ticking. Also, they are around 30 billion in debt due to spending 8 billion on the 600mhz. Tmobile will be adding a lot of debt in order to acquire more spectrum whether MMwave or others high frequencies.
  15. What will be the maximum peak upload on the TDD LTE Massive MIMO?
  16. Nothing of a big change. Nokia bought Lucent so obviously they are taking those big cities LA, NYC, Philly, Boston etc that Alcatel previously was responsible for. Ericsson will take over the Southern states where they deployed the network vision 1.0 tech. The only thing that stays intact is the Samsung markets like Chicago, Seattle etc.
  17. Doctor Saw messed up, he only mentioned 40mh> when in reality he should have said 40mhz> of licensed spectrum. Tmobile will use the 5ghz WIFI and that will bring the lawsuits.
  18. Neville Ray has always dismissed Sprint 2.5ghz portfolio, but deep down he knows is a game changer. He always says how can you deploy a nationwide 2.5ghz network, but you can ask the same question how can you rollout a nationwide network on MMwave Spectrum.
  19. Interference with residential and businesses WIFI services. The LAA stuff uses the 5GHZ WIFI frequency band. Tmobile wants to be pretty using a public service band for a wireless for-profit business. They don't have the spectrum to deploy 5G period. They have to wait for the CBRS 3.5ghz band or the MMwave frequencies auction, but because their arrogance they say 600mhz and LAA can be used for 5G.
  20. LAA is a tech for crowded places or stadiums. If Tmobile and others try to install that tech everywhere the lawsuits will fly against them. Verizon is not even mentioning LAA anymore, mostly MMwave spectrum.
  21. Where is the spectrum Tmobile will use for 5G? I mean they keep using that B.S that a 10x10, 15x15 600mhz will allow them to launch a nationwide rollout of the tech. I have heard from many people that you will need 100mhz of spectrum alone to deploy a fast, reliable and low latency 5G network. Sprint can do that on their 2.5Gz and Verizon on MMWave holdings.
  22. Well, the Galaxy 9 will be the first phone that will take advantage of all that except the whole 5G NR. John Saw needs to move and execute fast. I think Tmobile really wanted that Sprint merger because of that whopping 160mhz of 2.5ghz spectrum for 5G.
  23. Rootmetrics just dropped their 2017 second half report. http://www.rootmetrics.com/en-US/content/mobile-performance-in-the-us-part-1-performance-across-the-entire-us-2h http://www.rootmetrics.com/en-US/content/mobile-performance-in-the-us-part-2-performance-across-the-50-states-2h http://www.rootmetrics.com/en-US/content/mobile-performance-in-the-top-125-us-metro-areas
  24. Buying Metro PCS would have allowed that in many areas, but the toxic board of directors at that time blocked Hesse.
  25. AT&T was able to change their image due to the iPhone, Tmobile due to the so-called crooked wireless contracts. Perhaps Sprint game changer is 5G in early 2019. If they launch a 5G spotty network then they are finished. John Saw has a huge responsibility on his hands regarding the future of this company.
