Nope. Not on Sprint anymore. I'm on TMO now. I was just making an observation on what seems like an unnecessary fee. If Sprint offer unlimited why would they charge overage fees instead of just bumping you up to the next data tier. Or just you know. not charge it. It doesn't make sense to me. -Luis

Thanks for the info! That makes more sense. I keep reading contradictory information regarding 700MHZ deployment. Also I do wanna point out to another poster regarding this being a patch. I semi agree? It seems like it came out of nowhere but I'm guessing not many people will complain unless they like the whole data bucket sharing thing. I've personally hated sharing data. I'm not a big consumer on average but my father is and I don't want to be penalized because of his fees. Which is strange to me that Sprint is charging overages since they offer unlimited data... coverage is very varied by location. I can tell you that sprint does not come close to att levels of coverage in Miami. But they are talking about the equivalent for four lines on sprint not 7. You should only compare apples to apples, just got they compared 4 lines for att and big red. Sure the framily is cheaper when you have 7+ but that's not they are taking about. Also this isn't a shot at sprint but at att. They made the chart just for comparisons. -Luis

Alright, no worries. I was just really confused, I never even mentioned Framily! It was actually someone else who I was quoting. At the same time, I don't believe it was meant to misrepresent sprint, but rather state that the data allotment goes down to 4GB, much like how sprint has a 4GB data allotment (I presume). -Luis

I had a rather horrible experience with them. I've had to get 3 replacements and all three broke. So my phone is going commando now. Maybe it's just my luck, they were nice when they were still intact. -Luis

I just wanna state, that hold music sounds like crap ALL THE TIME. This article is clearly biased and uninformed. /Sarcasm. But it will be nice to test out the VoLTE. I know that TMO has some lag when connecting calls, and I've experienced the same on AT&T. So it would be nice to see if they can fix that.

See but that all comes down to personal opinion, and preference. I would never chose a system just because of the controller, or for such a minute detail, that's just insane. The truth is that the sale of the XBONE are lagging, the supply is out there. Almost every store I have called in Miami, they have XBONE in stock, but the PS4 flies off the shelves. Now, every store is different, so I can't say with certainty that is true for all of the US. This. I made a point the other day to a friend, who stated that loyalist to the XBox will always get the next gen. I disagreed because it's easy to defect with consoles. Unlike phones where all your content is digital and can be transferred to a newer phone, old games aren't playing on newer consoles. I loved my XB360, I was so ecstatic when I got it. I loved playing Mass Effect on it, but simply because the PS4 has identical hardware for $100 less, I would go with the PS4 over the XBONE. -Luis

This was a much needed update. I'm glad they finally have started listening to their customers. I haven't used my 360 in months primarily because I needed Gold for so many things. Maybe now their sales won't lag behind PS4's but unfortunately the damage has already been done. Also people saying that the XBONE, has had better deals is primarily because the system does not sell. The retailers are the ones who put the deals up because it is not good for them to have such large stocks. Makes them look bad, desperate times calls for desperate measures. -Luis

So whatever issues my phone was having with battery as of two days ago seem to have magically disappeared. Battery is back to normal. Thanks to all who gave me suggestions, maybe something you guys told me to do worked and I just didn't notice! -Luis

So I just got back on this thread and have put my phone into Safe Mode to see if it's anything from a third party app. The battery today is even worse than yesterday, one little phone call and 12 minutes of SOT, and the battery is down to 65%. It's not even noon yet. This is killing me slowly. Thankfully I have a cable at work to charge the phone through the computer. But still, w/e the issue is, it's bothering the hell out of me. Has anyone been having battery drain issues as of late? In the past two days, the phone keeps draining when it's idle. I've noticed the biggest culprit is Android OS. Yesterday I had only SOT of 42 minutes, but the battery was at 52% when I left work at 3. Today it's gone from 100% to 80% with SOT of only 16 minutes. I've tried uninstalling any strange applications, but the problem seems to be happening. Any thoughts? -Luis

As a current TMO, and prior Sprint, customer here are my two cents: I like the fact that I have LTE virtually everywhere I am with TMO, but I dislike the fact that once I'm outside of city limits the coverage does drop, where with Sprint I had coverage well into the everglades. Then again I am largely a city dweller. It's also nice that even when I'm not on LTE, the speeds are consistently great, whereas with Sprint 3G was completely abysmal. Never could load anything, and it was infuriating to pay the $10 premium data fee. While Sprint does have more reliable voice coverage, I find that TMO is adequate, with only two or three dead spots in Miami (where I normally am driving through). Should both companies combine and make one giant, ultimate uncarrier mashup (clusterfuck?) behemoth that can bring down AT&T and Verizon? Sure why not? But I would not like to lose the benefits I currently have with TMO, and pay the higher prices I once did with Sprint. If they can pull it off in a way that is consumer friendly towards both companies customers that would be great. Ultimately, I would love to have Sprints Voice coverage with TMO's fast data. (I hope this post in no way violates the rules, it's a personal opinion) -Luis

Do you have LTE? When the phone has absolutely no service you can kiss your battery life away. It will drain it extremely fast. If you have LTE available then idk. -luis

They will only accept a limited number of phones that are to be smashed. Some people have smashed some phones already hoping for an invite... Maybe it's me, but I would feel horrible smashing my phones. -Luis

I think either this phone will explode, or will silently be digging it's own grave here in the US. By not offering it with any carriers, they are ultimately limiting their exposure to the market. Unfortunately, even though the big 4 have moved towards removing subsidies (to some extent) it's practically impossible to operate like the European markets. It's a nice phone, I'll definitely want to check it out, but they are making a huge mistake by not including CDMA (mostly cause they won't have access to the millions of Verizon customers, also Sprint too ) My two cents. -Luis

I do want to add to this that it seems to be a problem with iPhones and Tmo's network. I call other people on other networks with iPhones, but calling my one friend on Tmo that has an iPhone is horrible. Calling any other N5 sounds amazing, as well as other Android phones on Tmo. When I was on Sprint, I had the same problem with my friend's Tmo iPhone. It seems to be also device specific because it only happened recently with the 5s. Now recently my mother switched over to a Samsung blaze and it sounds horrible too, it could just be the phones themselves at times. My two cents. -Luis

Yeah, this makes more sense. Sorry for the ignorance. It's just a little confusing. I understand that Apple sends out updates on their own accord, and I know that the Gnex had problems with Verizon. But hopefully it's exactly what you say! -Luis
