  1. Man. I don't know if I can hold out anymore. I can barely send picture messages anymore. Sigh. I don't want to switch carriers but I think at this point, I would pay more to get service that works.
  2. They still need to do the work on the tower. Probably won't be till late spring or summer
  3. You can see most of that information if you became a sponsor. There is an interactive map that displays where each tower is and what phase it is currently in. Thanks to TechSmurf.
  4. Yeah - it's on federal land so I am sure they did not have to go through the slow red-tape process of applying for a state permit.
  5. I was in LA recently. See attached. Hopefully we'll see speeds like this. But I noticed the LTE coverage was spotty. And I am assuming that the towers weren't under a heavy load, hence the speeds I got.
  6. Man. I really hope the build out starts soon. I am barely getting 100kbps at times with an average ping of 350 ms.
  7. I was looking at a site where AT&T also has equipment. It took the state of Hawaii seven months to issue a permit. I don't expect work on towers to begin until early next year.. based on what we see now.
  8. https://network.sprint.com/HI/Honolulu/ There were about 40+ upgrades on the site up until now. Could this perhaps mean they are gearing up for LTE? Or is it just a database issue they may be having? I hope it's the former.
  9. Funny, cause I went to Starbucks near the airport and smiled a little when I saw an Alcatel-lucent van in the parking lot. I hope they have started.
