  1. Slow as can be 3g with no 4G in KofP today.... And then I hit Home depot and it kicks in... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  2. You should've been watching Dom Brown play. He's killing the Phils. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  3. What's the point of the upgrade if they don't see to be able to handle any type of traffic. Was in Wayne just now on Lancaster Ave a mile from 476 with just Ok 3g. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  4. 3. 13 down 1. 21 up at Costco just now. Tmob: 20.09 down 10.43 up on LTE, 5.22/2.12 on HSPA. Are Spark phones the only ones that come close to getting consistent double digit speeds? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  5. Yes, 25. Not like I can choose, correct? Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  6. Here's some amazing speeds from my bedroom today (in Bryn Mawr) . Sadly, they were with a Tmo Note 2. When I took out my S4 on Sprint it got worse: Then I took out my S4 Mini, sadly still sitting on a dismal 4.2.2, and had a little redemption thanks to spark. This is day 1 of carrying my S4 and the demo Note 2. The Mini was bought strictly as a workout and media device, and unfortunately stinks at that because it doesn't have 4.3 and can't connect to BT LE devices yet. I imagine they're jumping to Kitkat, but there isn't an eta. Think US Minis are the only ones not on 4.3. Will be interesting to see how this shakes out. I guess I'll carry the Mini too and see how it compares. I'm more concerned with signal than speed though. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  7. umm, yes they do. Try downloading a picture over wifi and LTE. The LTE will be compressed, about half the size or less of the original picture. Not very good if you have text intensive pics or actually want the hi res/quality image, need to zoom in to see detail and so forth.
  8. I gave tmobile breathing down my neck for our business account. Told them I'd take a look and they're giving us a note 3 and iPhone 5 to demo. Will see how they compare. $300 less per month. First two months free. All new devices free. Buyback of sprint devices, but I'll see if I can get more selling them if it happens. Have had more complaining about Sprint's network from our other reps as of late. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  9. So my business account actually pays for data, 40gb per month, 10-12gb of it is usually me, and I don't do speed tests or tether. Actually have a hot spot, not that it matters because I paid for 40gb, and I should be able to use it any which way I want whether I do 40gb of torrent downloads, stream music and movies or constantly up and download files from the cloud. I rarely do the first one,but I would imagine I'm not getting throttled because I actually pay for a set amount of data. I wonder if these type of accounts will fall under the same umbrella as unlimited folk. And I have the tmobile rep knocking on my door every month. I demoed a phone for a month, and there wasn't one place in the Philly area where I could say sprint outshined tmobile. People can bash all they want, but even with the NV update, Sprint isn't winning any battles. Personally, I'd like to see the merger, see sprint swap out their CDMA boards for gsm ones and just call it a day. I would think the combined gsm network would make many happy. 10. It's also already $50 on contract, at least on the business side. Sorry. Didn't realize this was probably mentioned. More pages than I thought. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  11. I'm in the western Philly burbs and lately my data is constantly stalling out. The little green arrow lights intermittently, but that's it. Have to power cycle the phone to get it going again. Toggling data or airplane does nothing. Happens on 3g and 4g. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  12. Just had some 4G briefly on the 30 east of 29. Lost it quick and back to a next to nothing 3g signal at Paoli Hospital. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  13. I'm at Manoa and Haverford with 4g.upload still stinks, but 4-6mb down consistently is nice without the wimax type drain. And the dead zone pockets around haverford are there for every carrier. From Ardmore Ave to College Ave is dismal and only slightly better as you get to Bryn Mawr Ave. In Bryn Mawr Hospital, 20ft from windows, my battery drains like nobody's business. I can drain the an S3 by noon easy, my Note 2 by 1pm. Hoping the signal boost 3g gets is enough to keep a more consistent signal. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  14. The open should hopefully push the upgrade. All that publicity... But.... That area is notorious for a lack of signal. You'd think haverford college would put a tower up to get paid a bit. Ton of land to utilize and wouldn't be an eyesore. Did have 4g this morning in conshy on 76. A little busy driving to play though. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
