  1. Just follow any instructions for a screen replacement. It's the exact same, you just don't have to go as far as they do for the screen Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  2. I had the same thing happen a couple months ago. I tried everything. Clearing battery stats in recovery, new rom, new kernel, everything. I eventually replaced the battery with one I got on eBay and the new one worked perfectly. It's the battery crapping out unfortunately Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk
  3. I had to replace my charging port and my brothers. It's a pretty easy process and pretty cheap. I got the replacement part on eBay for like $7. Just look on eBay or Amazon for "htc one m8 charging port" and you'll find what you need. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  4. That was probably the cemetery site then. I pick that up at my house sometimes. But the signal is pretty weak so I've never seen speeds that high. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  5. Where in Wentzville was that at? That's where I live (well currently I'm away at school but that's my hometown) Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  6. so does the network choose which carrier you connect to to split the load? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  7. Why the second carrier then? Will it be aggregated in the future? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  8. I'm picking up carrier aggregated b25 in Rolla. I didn't get this before I left for winter break but now I am. According to the map, the tower closest to the school still doesn't even have band26 upgrades yet which is interesting
  9. I'll give that a go and see what happens. Hopefully it's that simple of a fix! ???? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  10. Well since I posted that it's been working on some sites, but not others. I also noticed that sometimes data stops working on band 41. It says I have connection but none of my apps can access the Internet. If I toggle airplane mode, it puts me onto a different band temporarily and everything works fine again until it moves me back to band 41. Again this doesn't happen on all towers, but only some. It could be a device issue; I'm running a htc one m8 with a Google Play Edition rom, but nobody else in that thread has reported this. But it seems strange to me that I don't have an issue on some sites, but I do on others. Maybe I'll flash back to a stock rom and see what happens Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  11. Every time I'm in band 41 and I do a speedtest the upload part fails. I tried to see how fast carrier aggregated band 41 was and it reported an upload speed of 0.01mbps. It stayed at 0 for a while then went to 0.01. This happens any time on band 41. It works fine on any other band. Has anyone else noticed this? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  12. I had this issue too. My m8 was also a release day m8. My pictures became very over exposed and blurry, and for a while I couldn't figure out why. Then people started talking about that film and I used a credit card to scratch the rest of the film off. The camera has been fine ever since. Except for a huge crack through the lens that showed up a couple months after purchase, but that doesn't show up in the pictures so I guess it's whatever. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

  14. I was at Scottrade Friday night for the Imagine Dragons concert and it wasn't bad. We got there pretty early and it was super fast. But it started getting slower and slower as more people came but never got too bad. During the concert I was able to upload pictures to my snapchat story without a problem. And that was while basically everyone else was also uploading photos and videos to their story. I was on band 26 most of the time but in the beginning I was on band 25. 2 years ago I was at Peabody Opera House for a OneRepublic concert, and with less than half the crowd of Imagine Dragons, data was completely unusable. I'm pretty impressed with how much it has changed in those 2 years. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
  15. Did you try holding the power button, volume up, and volume down for 30 seconds? This happened to my M8 and I had to do that to get it working again. Apparently it recalibrates the battery Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
