  1. Question of the day: Something to get excited for or just some clever Sprint advertising. I live near Carnegie Mellon and I haven't seen any sign of LTE nor 1x800. What do you guys think? Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using Tapatalk
  2. Ok, I'm very impressed with Sprint now - Made a call on the LIE around Melville. Had LTE so my phone switched to 1x no prob and the call was great quality. When I hung up I noticed my phone switched to 1x 800 mid call and then it promptly switched back to LTE. Very exciting! Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using Tapatalk
  3. Woke up to some 1x800 this morning! Pretty encouraging seeing as the signal travelled from across the river! The signal quickly dropped though... Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using Tapatalk
  4. Some band 41 love Roosevelt Island Sent from my HTC0P3P7 using Tapatalk
  5. Mid 60s on first ave. I've noticed that between 59th and 70th on first is a weak area for LTE. Now, hopefully this fills some of it in.
  6. *LTE data frenzy after tower gets activated* Today, 4G signal in my apartment jumped from -116 to -99 dbm. Party time... Sent from my Note 2 using Tapatalk
  7. NICE speed in front of Lincoln Center. Now that's what I'm talking about! http://db.tt/HXHdCUZm Sent from my Note 2 using Tapatalk
  8. This is a really good indoor lte speed! Last Friday I noticed my connection stretched all of the way into my apartment. It used to only connect if I held my phone against the Window. An obvious improvement lol These speeds are equal to verizons lte speeds. My mom has Verizon after she gave up on sprint 5 years ago. Sometimes sprint's faster! Anyway, very happy with the improvement. http://db.tt/ovVDukK2
  9. Yeah! They recently lit up a big chunk of Houston and the surrounding areas. And the speed is pretty fast! Awesome.
  10. And if you do Sensorly's compare carrier signal quality, at least around me, AT&T has like -65dbm while Sprint is like -105dbm. Hopefully that will improve in the future, but still. I live near a dark purple area for sprint. Should be higher.
  11. I've been wondering the same thing. I noticed other maps like AT&T and Verizon with much denser coverage even in places that haven't launched yet... Hmm...
  12. First LTE noticed on E Houston! Very exciting, get to sit in the cafe and sip 4g too lol
  13. LTE signal has been changing day to day on the Upper East Side. I test it everyday on my commute and the strength of the signal and speed varies greatly. I test it in the same places with a few airplane mode toggles and reboots. They must be doing tests and adjusting. When the signal is strong and steady, IT'S FANTASTIC!
  14. No, I'm actually at 64th st on 1st. I've done quite a few tests in that area and the coverage varies greatly from street to street. I'm talking -85 dbm on York and 64th and -108 dbm on 1st and 64th. In my apartment it's about -113 dbm which is right on the edge of unusable, but hey, Sprint says there are a few tickets in my area. Hope it improves soon!
  15. NV is great but I'm having some trouble on the Upper East Side. I live right on the edge of LTE coverage and my phone just constantly flips between e-HRPD and LTE. It KILLS battery! It kills me to change to CDMA only mode when I've waited so long... Can't wait till the coverage expands indoors! But on the street, the speeds are great! 25mbps down, 13mbps up!
