Comments related to the NV Running List Thread

OK. I have updated perentages: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/212-network-visionlte-deployment-running-list/

And as Boomerbubba says above, there is up to a 7-10 day delay between OEM reporting by the time it gets to me. However, I didn't really see any Sprint LTE coverages in their maps that weren't really jiving with my update from yesterday. I think we are pretty close.

I believe Sprint launched early. They originally were planning launch at 50%. Then lowered to 40%. Then lowered even further still with the announced markets. Since they stuck their neck out there with a Mid 2012 date, they couldn't keep pushing out much further than July 15th.

Robert, will the Ft. Wayne/South Bend article be written anytime soon to round out the 2nd round market updates?

It is a high priority to do before I leave on vacation. But it requires more data review. This market does not have a detailed schedule yet. But I do have some date info in a file. I need to to go through that file and spend a couple hours putting it together. I hope to publish Wednesday or Thursday morning.

Any Idea when the rool out will hit Utah? WE may be royal to the rest of the country but we need LTE as well.

Deployment will not begin in the Utah market until 2013.

So, how can we follow the links in the main thread? They're all password protected. I'd like to see the detailed information.

I kinda surprised we still haven't seen any LTE sites up in Miami yet. It is now just past mid July.

You and me both. :td:

Hey people, I just saw one of the areas I'm interested in is the the "North LA" market (specifically 93015 zipcode) - do any of you have any idea when we might see work in that area?

Thanks!

I think he might be right. Before Sprint PCS there was Sprint Spectrum LLC. I'm pretty sure I got my 1st erricson sprint phone in 88

Not to bust your chops, but that, too, is a bit of an exaggeration. Sprint PCS first launched service in 1997. So, at most, you have been a 15 year customer.

Any update on the Missouri/Oklahoma deployment. I live in Tulsa and my friends and I are really starting to see service drops followed by better data and voice usage a couple of weeks later at towers all around town.

Those are the band aid fixes. Network vision is not starting in Oklahoma until the late 2nd or early 3rd round

    • My s24 Ultras auto updated to April 1 security patch over night. Not on wi-fi.  Play system remains at March 1. No notice that update occurred on screen.
    • Got the latest update. On my S24 ultra the NR-ARFCN display remains constant (which is inaccurate according to diags) while n41 and 38 toggle back and forth.  I updated then rebooted before testing. Two sims active. My security patch level updated automatically to April 1 before this update. Diags sent while n38 was displaying.
    • Was able to install the March 1 Android security patch. Seems slightly more accurate with 5g ca band id, but can not swear by it. Updated google play system update through the software information screen to March 1. *#73# still works. Froze updates waiting on SCP update beta to fix n41 showing as n38.
    • Just installed it. Thanks for the info.  71 mb mar 1st date.
    • There's a permit for a new 47 story building at 205 Montague St in Downtown Brooklyn. The problem is that  T-Mobile eNB 48352 is on the building next door and this new building will block two out of 3 sectors of the site. For reference, the new building will be roughly as tall as 16 Court St which is right across the street. This site is the primary site covering Cadman Plaza so I wonder what the plan is. Will they just try to change sector placement, move to a different building, or will this just speed up the conversion of the Sprint site at 25 Monroe Place?
