  3. The Magic Box 6 months later

Why can't sprint make a magic box that utilizes all 3 band's?
  4. I was actually getting sprint spark via the magic box until it pooped out on me, I'm in a rural area in Louisa County Virginia.
  5. 5g : what's required ?

Don't forget about the massive doses of radiation from 5G
  6. Official Magic Box discussion thread

I go My magic box 2 or 3 months ago and it was working, then I was in bed on my phone it suddenly stopped, reset it then error 245 came up. MB technical support said that the tower near me wasn't compatible with the magic box, how do they explain the fact that it was working for 3 months? Their site now says the magic box isn't available in my area. Getting a replacement soon.

  8. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

Hmm, maybe the wait was more related to them being able to take advantage of 4CA now that UE support is in play.
  9. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

4T4R has been implemented. 4x4 MIMO is not.

  13. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

Seems odd that they waited this long considering 4t4r was never implemented.
  14. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

It can have 4 individual 20 MHz carriers . 4CA support depends mostly on UE. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

So Samsung Clear equipment can do 4CA using a 2T2R setup?

  20. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

When I look at it before when I found this one out, it still the same equipment as before, they probably do this method.
  21. Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

Here we go. I remembered something from way back. So a high capacity Clear samsung setup where they're able to add another carrier(s) by cutting the RF chain from 4T4R to 2T2R + 2T2R. Same methodology used to add a 4th/5th/6th carrier for 8T8R equipment (8T8R --> 4T4R + 4T4R).

Hopefully. It's odd that they're still using the Clear PLMN and GCI base though if that's the case. I wonder if they just swapped out part of the equipment rather than a full replacement. I guess we'll have to wait for pictures to find out. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
