Lost LTE all day today in Roanoke but ##update# got it back. Not sure what that was about

LTE finally connecting for me on sprint in Roanoke today!!

I have 4 sprint phones and none of them will connect. They all say sprint LTE on the screen but receive no data. There is a bigger problem here.

Well that's a good thing for those of us on sprint who still can't connect, they can't say we are still a 3G area anymore if their own maps show otherwise. The maps show I am directly in the center of 4G Best area, time to escalate it up the chain I suppose. It's been 2 weeks now, should have had it figured out by now.

Thanks for the info, even though it is a bit disappointing. What about new phone activations, are they all connecting correctly or having the same random problem?

My iPhone 6 Plus is connecting to band 26 but still won't receive data. Sprint store hasn't been any help, they just say to keep LTE off for now. Wish they would get it figured out.

Same here, phone just won't get LTE data. Stopped by a sprint store to get my phone checked and they said there is a problem with the network that is not allowing everyone to connect. But didn't have much info as to when it would be fixed. I think they are probably rolling it out a little at a time. But it's frustrating for sure.,

On a positive note though, the 3G seems a lot better today, maybe because only me and the Boost guys are still on it...

Yesterday my iPhone could see the LTE but not connect to any web pages and when I would turn LTE off then it would go back and forth between 1x and no service so I had no data connection at all. Today it is still seeing LTE but not connecting to the web but when I turn it off then I can now at least get the crap 3G connection back. Is it possible that only a limited number of phones can access LTE first as a test? Is that even possible? I have spoken to 7 friends here in Roanoke that have sprint and 4 have LTE now.

Still not sure what is going on with my phone, called Sprint and they said LTE should be working if it is showing on my phone screen. I have an app that shows I'm connected to sprint LTE but for some reason the data is still not working. Voice and texts work fine but can't use the internet. Strange, maybe it will work its self out soon.

Maybe there is just something wrong with my phone? Sprintcare online is too hard to deal with, I get a new person asking the same questions over and over. Might have to go by a store tomorrow

Yeah I have roaming enabled, I've tried everything I can think of. I'm near Tanglewood mall so I would think my area would be good

I just tried the sprint app thing, maybe that will help?

It is, sprint iPhone 6 Plus. It's showing LTE on the screen but just won't connect to any page . Text and voice still work though.
